The brown bandeau dress is quite cute. I personally don’t wear brown (there are just so many more attractive and bright colours to wear) but my boyfriend is always telling me that I should wear brown (his favourite colour). This dress is probably the cutest/funkiest thing I have seen in brown. And, I am sorry Gala but those pants don’t exactly mesh well with me they kind of say “Grandmother at the pokies”..hehehehe. I don’t even know how you would wear them!
GRANDPA CARDIGAN!
That triblend unisex cardigan is WAY more versatile than it looks.
You can wear it with some massive style points by:
1. unbuttoning it all the way
2. taking the two sides and wraping them around your body in opposite directions, on after the other, like a regular wrap sweater
3. safety pin it just below your waist…
And slap on a pencil skirt and stilettos! Super, super hot.
OR… wear it with PJs and Gala’s Christmas flavored coffee. (Or Hanukkah flavored, or Kwanzaa flavored… you get it. :P)

I’m soooo lonely right now but I should be starting work soon (and then have cash to go on adventures and go to clubs/classes etc). I’m thinking of passing notes to me next door neighbour to compliment her crystal collection on the balcony and her wafty incence! I’m going crazier – my own reflection is keeping me company! Ah, must go out. Will go to library. (Sorry Gala, off topic – but I’m out of my mind here!!!)

i dunno, it kind of looks like the kind of stuff you can’t wear on a fat day at all… like all that tight fabric would definitely show off a pouchy tummy.
sadly for me clothes that hide such fatal flaws are very important.

libby — That’s what shaper underwear is for! Seriously, if you feel like your stomach makes clothing fit you strangely, invest in some shaper underwear. It isn’t sexy but it will make you look like a GODDESS, I swear. Also, they already have a location in Australia for mail order (Sydney). You get free shipping within Australia for orders over $100, otherwise it’s $8. Bargain baby!
I too am a member of the anti-leggings league but those ones seem to have rather high awesome levels…
I would wear it more if it was warm! It is way too cold for dresses, and I haven’t been going out at night or to events because I am broke. I do love it, though. It’s my favourite clothing purchase this year, along with my boots and John Fluevogs shoes.
Oh, man, I used to be anti-leggings, then I found AA and saw the shiny, flattering, comfortable light.
Right now I am dyyyying for some cotton jersey spandex high-waisted leggings! The high waist seems so, so convenient.
I too am a loyal fan of AA, funny how some brands are so easy to fall in love with (I’m a Lush-o-phile and MAC-o-phile too).
As a university student, they are the perfect clothes to look casual yet pulled together with. Best of all, they make the whole ‘what am I going to wear’ dilemma disappear.
Looking at the high waisted leggings makes me wish I would have ordered the higher ones, as the normal leggings are too low cut. From the picture the high waist looks wrong somehow, but then I found some old leggings I’ve had since the 1990s, where the waist goes up to my chest! It wasn’t considered pervy or weird then! :D
By the way watched the movie ‘Eagle Vs Shark’ and thought of you! Love the accent, it really made the movie.
American Apparel is the perfect pick-me-up…their clothing is like listening to the scissor sisters …
