Captain Darling reporting live from Austin, Texas… I feel like I am 100 years old right now. As you can imagine, I have not spent a lot of time in front of my computer this past week. This place is like write-&-dash headquarters. So here are a few gems I managed to unearth. Next week I return to reality (if you can call New York “reality”), so hopefully it will be a much more bumper edition!

<3 Jazzi‘s blog has a new layout (& a new home!) & it is extreeeeeemely awesome. I know most of you have heard me talk about how much I adore Jazzi before, but if you’re only just tuning in, Jazzi is an incredible stylist, fashion adventurer & all-around awesome person. She also has way, way too much style for someone so young. Intimidating!

<3 I really enjoyed Gary Vaynerchuk’s keynote last week & you can watch it here. Great energy & valuable lessons for anyone who works for themselves.

<3 My favourite New York DJ, Chew Fu, just released this & I love it like mad. Ciara feat. Justin Timberlake – Love Sex Magic(Chew Fu Small Room Fix)! YAY.

<3 Future Reflection from Vogue Korea is amazing. My favourite outfit is the harem pants with the red shirt & leggings. I would wear that. It is incredible.

<3 Drew Barrymore interview with W about her role in Grey Gardens. (Excited? ME TOO! DAMN!)

  6. Oh Gala I feel I must tell you a creepy story that reminds me to that picture.
    About 4 years ago I was with my stepsister…We were in her room (I was staying with her so we were sharing her bed). It was like 4 am, so everybody was asleep, so we decided to turn off the lights and try to sleep. A while after I said I needed to find something, so she grabbed her cellphone and opened it to light the room a little… and I saw a hand like the one in the picture, on her door, like holding it open. It had four black pointy fingers. I thought it was my imagination so I just pretended nothing had happended…but about a minute later my stepsister said ‘did you see it?’ and described it. We turned on the lights and there was nothing there.
