These carousels just keep getting smaller! I think I need some new sites to subscribe to via RSS...! Anyway, here are my favourite links from the past week. Enjoy!
Definitely Excellent Under The Eye Makeup Trickery from FruityBeauty. I haven’t tried this but it makes total sense & I am very excited about it!
Playlust is a new (to me, anyway) street style website. It is amazing. Go & look at it now. (Thank you, Ms Coveted!)
Coilhouse sez… It’s beginning to look a lot like HUMBUG. The perfect antidote to the holidays for all you ex-goths! Also, Coilhouse makes me smile because they understand why Michael Jackson is so amazing.
The No Impact Dear Santa Letter. I love Colin. He has his head screwed on properly, you know?
Want to become famous? Neil Patel gives tips for any budding celebrities!
My faaaaavourite, Dumb Little Man, wrote 5 Ways To Stand Out & Get Your Dream Job — & it’s great.
Finally, I want to marry this girl on Face Hunter.
Super-love & cupcakes,

wee, I love reading this before bed (I’m gonna watch Project Runway soon!), and be the first to comment!
I red that No Impact Man article a few days ago, and is sure amazing. I have a question, do you try to follow his advices, I mean, having a less contaminating life-style? (I do, I was wandering if you too, since you read his site…)
Thanks for all the links! :)
The Coilhouse blog is great! How can you not love a site that has a clip from the holiday classic Silent Night, Deadly Night. It’s my favorite Christmas movie ever, hands down.
Yes, I have a very sick sense of humour.
“Santy Claus only brings presents to them that’s been good all year. All the other ones, all the naughty ones, he punishes! What about you, boy? You been good all year?”
Hey Gala (and everyone),
My first time commenting – the pressure! I love reading your blog – it makes me smile at least once a day.
Anyway, what made me actually comment? I thought you might dig this article by Kate Harding about “The Fantasy of Being Thin”. Whilst I’m totally loving it as a fat girl who has spent countless years and dollars deluding herself with the fantasy (and is now in working on the cognitive dissonance stage), I think it is applicable to everyone – fat or thin.

(eek! I can’t figure out whether or not I can do html so I’m just going to leave it ugly looking. sorry everyone!)
(p.s. I swear I’m not Kate Harding, just a Shapeling who digs her writing and had a serious “a-ha!” moment reading this!)
i love No Impact Man’s letter. i just forwarded it to a few friends/family. like Fran i’m wondering if you try to follow his advice? it seems almost at odds with a list of gift ideas! (i’m genuinely curious. i myself tried to get lots of second hand/handmade gifts this year and i can’t say i succeeded 100%... but i’m tryin’!)
oh my! i wanted to marry that girl too when i checked out the latest instalment on facehunter!..isnt she devishly darling. and those glasses..whoa!
Aaah I just found you modeling awesome anatomical heart necklaces!! They are too gorgeous.
lcmo & fran — I appreciate No Impact Man’s lifestyle choices but don’t follow them myself. It doesn’t really appeal to me, but I am very impressed by his commitment, & find it interesting to follow, which is why I read it & link it!
