I LOVE Trash the Dress! Makes me want to go to an op-shop and get myself a dress to trash. Potential I.D.U.D theme . . . ???
Other wedding photography sites I like are:
http://www.jessicaclaire.net/
http://www.beckersblog.com/
http://www.altf.com/
I love great wedding photos because they contain stories and meaning, and they’re uplifting! Love is good.
This week I have been buying alice in wonderland themed jewellery. I cant wait for the postie to come next week.
yes! i love her stuff, i also really love her tea party collection.
OMG – I just spent $2000 on my wedding dress, I don’t think I could even contemplate trashing it. His pics are amazing though.
I like the “benefits of rising early” since i need to rise early anyway, for fajr. lately i’ve been checking out awesome calligraphy on deviantart. it’s done so artistically… i would love to hang all the paintings up in my room.
“the benefits of rising early” came at just the right time for me…
right now i’m reading this book called the artist’s way by julia cameron. it’s a book, but also a 12-week self-taught course in unblocking your creativity. the main thing you have to do is get up every day and force yourself to write three pages about anything on your mind.
but it’s so hard to get up early!!!
i’ve only been doing it for a week and the results have been mindboggling. i always believed that thought creates, but now i believe in it so much that i’m learning to harness it.
it’s an excellent book and i think you would like it a lot. :)
Rachel – “The Artist’s Way” is a super book!! It really does help you become more able to express yourself creatively and it’s very inspiring (or I thought so anyway!).
I really enjoyed the “Getting Up Early” article. I’m naturally an early riser, and I loooove watching the sun rise. I especially love being in the city very early, because it’s weirdly quiet and feels like a ghost town.
I’ve been reading lots of style blogs and street fashion blogs – but I can’t find any that I like as much as yours, Gala!!
Although recently I have been entertaining myself more and more with going online and finding strange and interesting little sites (I mean strange in a good way) and I have been watching very little television over the past few months, the thing that I have really enjoyed this week was Darcey Bussell’s final performance as principal dancer of the Royal Ballet! She played the lead in Song of the Earth last night and I watched it live on the BBC. I would have loved to have been there!!
I really love the idea of trashing your dress, but I would have to make sure mine didn’t get too trashed!! I would still want it to try on every now and then! I also loved the article about getting up early! And great photo on face hunter ^^ .... I miss Madrid…
I followed your link to the Kevin Aucoin site and immediately recognised him from Sex and the City. However I never knew who he was, or about his amazing life until then. Fabulous links as usual hon xo
