<3 Cotton Spandex Jersey Bandeau Dress from American Apparel (I love it so much, it’s painfully versatile & totally sexy, & now I want the Cotton Spandex Jersey Bandeau Pencil Dress too!)
<3 Frye Veronica boots (they are so comfortable it blows my mind)
<3 Silver charm bracelet & TUT bracelet (I was at Disney World with Mike Dooley so it was even more appropriate than usual!)

    I’ve found the pencil dress to be awesome, but any color other than black makes me look like I have a bun in the oven.

  18. I can’t stand Disneyland / world, but those pictures of you with the strawberry are so beautiful. I love the pool behind you. The pictures are so colorful and summery and make your tattoos look really lovely.

    I’m happy you’re having fun in America. It’s funny how my tastes differ so much from your in some ways (I can’t stand sex and the city, Disneyland, AA Lame tights) and are so similar in other ways (my diet is mostly raw, I love your positive energy, Tokyo and Grey Gardens). You are such a special girl and this website is a great thing!!

  20. The colours of your tattoos really suit all the pictures. very sweet pretty lady. i love disneyworld, amazing! are you going to any of the water parks? most fun EVER!!! And I love riding the big monorail system around…wheeeee. My boyfriend hates the idea of Disneyworld but I am going to make him come around!

  28. Templeton — We were only there for a day, but yeah, I think I agree with you on the Haunted Mansion! It was the first one we went on. I rode it at Disneyland in about 1992 (!) & loved it then, too :>

    Caitlin Marie — Yeah, it’s amaaaazing! What’s your favourite way to tie it? I am a bit wary of making it strapless since I don’t feel like I have much to hold it up! & Simon is in London, working. I miss him!

    Miss Elle — Disneyworld was A++! Had so much fun. Do you mean Pleasure Island? No, we didn’t. After Disneyworld we went out for dinner & then lay around the pool talking & listening to hip-hop. So good!

    kellyclare — Gala Darling is my “real” name, by which I mean it’s my legal name, on all my documents (credit cards, passports, etc.). But it’s not the name I was given at birth; I changed it about two years ago. xx!

    Ivy — I’m totally going to :> I need to decide on a colour! What do you think?

    Sophie — YES! HOW GOOD IS THAT?!

    Annie — It’s a colour I bought at Super Walmart, haha! The brand is Nicole by O.P.I. & the shade is called Stolen Kisses. It’s beautiful but it didn’t go on very well, it looks kind of bumpy, so I don’t know whether that was my shoddy application or their product…

    Kelsey — No actually! We went on Space Mountain though… I was so terrified I actually couldn’t scream. Haha!

    kitten` — Unfortunately I was only in Orlando for a day, so we did Disneyworld & left it at that. The water parks look fantastic though, I could easily spend a week in Orlando just doing theme parks!

    jasmine — They’re actually purple closest to my nose & then fade out to brown. It makes me sad, they look so patchy! I need to brush some eyeshadow into them to make them look consistent :>

    I think you should check out this adult store called Fairvilla (fairvilla.com) your post about the Lelo Lily made me think of it, since they carry the whole line of highend toy products. It’s really a fantastic store — not dingy or gross. If you have the time to find it, it’s worth the visit!

    Enjoy your stay in Florida, the weather is going to be fantastic the next few days.

I grew up in florida and had many trips to disney world (it’s the thing to do when you’re in elementary school, haha!), and I am so proud to see someone as fashionable as you inside its walls! this is infinitely better than my typical version of the disney world visitor: ratty t-shirt, shorts, fanny pack, baseball cap. you rock.

    also, ahh I love stolen kisses nail polish, it’s on my toenails right now and makes me feel extra spring-like. though the thought of you in a superwalmart makes me giggle :D

    Sarah — I actually left Orlando yesterday, I was only there for a day. Not long enough, I loved it! I’m back in Gainesville & fly to NYC tomorrow, so I don’t have much longer here. I’ve really, really enjoyed my time here though!

    jamie — Hee! I wanted to wear something that wasn’t going to overheat me, I actually bought that dress on Saturday, the day before I went there! It was the perfect thing to wear actually. & amazingly, I managed to sunscreen myself ALL OVER & not get even a hint of redness! Woohooooooo! Oh, & I was hilarious in Super Walmart… I kept squealing & exclaiming over everything. & I bought the girl I’m staying with a bubble machine!

  35. Cute! I love that you’ve made it to Florida… I was sooooo jealous to hear you were going to be in Gainesville, seeing as I just left it a few days before for the summer! And now reading that you’re back up there… sadness! What are you doing while you’re in Gainesville? My personal recommendation, if you’re anywhere near campus, is to check out the museums, especially the Harn Museum of Art and the Florida Museum of Natural History; I’m kind of a museum nut. Also, check out all the tiny little shops downtown; it’s pretty crazy what you’ll find in all those little storefronts.

  38. Gala – I flip the dress to the side and tie it just on my shoulder. Then I twist the extra around the back part of the strap so it ruffles out. Did that make any sense?

  40. The only bad thing about florida is the biiiiiigggggg bugs they get. And they have some weird ass laws, but what-ev. I love disney land/world. you should make your way ova to the westside. I’m sure San Fran (or the little town an hr south, where I’m from) would give you a huge warm hug welcome!

  44. Disney really is the happiest place in the world. No matter how awful your life may be, or how sad you are before you pull up, you can’t help but be ecstatic once you walk in. I’m from Miami so I’m lucky enough to have a discount to go in and it’s a really quick drive there. The kind of thing where me and my friends might be like, “I’m bored. Let’s go to Disney,” and then we hop in the car and just go.
