Oh I am so utterly jealous! Ice skating? YAY! I’ve always wanted to go but I’m not even sure there is anywhere to go in Wellington. :S Lookatchumiss in your adidas jacket, I always thought that & the purple one looked adorable on you. Have fun! :D
Ice skating is amazing and so much fun just dont be afraid to fall over! I’ve been to the Oakley (about 2 mins outside melbourne) rink quite a few times.
I love the whole chunky boots with the white lace….anyway where can I get myself some boots like that?!? They are awesome, perfect to wear to work everyday!
wow, like the dress+green jacket combo! I’m all for mixing styles!
you look totally awesome, as usual:) Rock those Wildilocks!!!
kisses
That petticoat dress is lovely.
Ice skating is sooo much fun! It’s definitely one of my favorite things to do, even if I do fall on my butt often. x] Good luck! :]
Notttt a fan of ice skating =\ Id imagine that it would be fun if you could actually do it but I’ve had nothing but terrible and painful experiences due to my unco-ordination on skates haha. I wish you more luck then I have!!! And if you feel yourself about to fall, grab on to the nearest person… might as well bring somebody else down with you to bask in the humiliation as well!
I love Ice Skating, I don’t do it much because the entrance to the rink is a little expensive even though it is like 5 minutes away from my house. I’ve haven’t fallen on the ice yet so I don’t know how it feels. Good luck!
You look soooooooooooooooo cute, Gala. I mean, your outfits are always great, but this one blows me away. I just want to give you a big (platonic, heehee) hug!
That hair clip is super cute Gala!
I love ice skating! I can’t skate well, so whenever I go I always end up grabbing onto my friends and falling around everywhere, but it’s still so much fun!
And I love that dress!
Wait, does your jacket have a big heart ob the back? ‘cause if so, i have the unhooded version!!!!!! also i love your hair.
That is a gorgeous dress, especially with the awesome stompy boots.
look over there ——>
steals your hair!
Man, I so love that dress. And the hoodie. And the pearls.
Such a gorgeous outfit! Have fun skating!
I love it! That hair is really working! :D
I loooove the juxtaposition of the frilly cute dress, and the punk rocker stompy boots! So great :D.
Gala! A adore the jacket and the skirt!
You remind me of some of the girls in the Japanese street fashion magazine Fruits in these photos!
my experience with ice skating involves a decent deal of pain, but alas! i have no balance. i hope you have an amazing time! :) i love the petticoat dress, and the hood+longhair combination. that very combination makes me miss my loongg hair.
Very cute.
Hope you had fun!
oooh! i really enjoy that petticoat. and the whole outfit for that matter!
hope you have/had fun ice skating! i’ve never been either, but i’m not exactly the most coordinated person so it might be a frightening experience.
I went ice skating a couple of years ago, and found these things helped me:
1. It’s a hell of a lot easier than rollerskating (but about the same as rollerblading). I can roller blade decently, so it worked fine.
2. Stay away from the railing— most people skate there, the ice is rougher & there is more slush, making you more prone to fall. If you go out a few feet where it’s smoother, but you can get to the rail if you think you’ll fall, you’re better off not falling.
Good luck and have fun! It’ll be lovely, especially since it may be a cool & refreshing alternative to the heat.
Heh, I like this new hair, it’s getting us a lot of Daily Outfits. [:
Love the outfit! That petticoat dress is amazing! Esp. paired with those boots! It’s very Weetzie ;)
You are so cute!
Goshes, I love that dress.
So pretty.
And the new hair is amazing.
Your hair looks great! it makes me want extensions even though my hair is fairly long already!
I love ice skating! Hope you are having/had fun.
PS. You look like seven feet tall in that first picture. hahaha.
i love iceskating! but being a skier i think it’s my love of the cold… haha.
I had no idea they had a rink in Melbourne though!? wow!
your outfit is amazingly cute, it looks SO much fun!!
I absolutely love that dress! Have fun ice skating. :)
I so very want your green hoodie.
Its GREEEEEEEEN.
Ice skating is one of the fine pleasures in life, and your outfit is so terrific for it! I hope you have fun!
You look so pretty! the boots rock :P
Where is the cupcake hairclip from? I love it!
You look so pretty with long hair! It must be fun twirling in that skirt when you skate. I’ve always wanted to try that like all the figure-skaters.
Love, love, love the hair!
dear gala,
absolutley love your new hair.
today’s (january the 20th) Audrey Hepburn’s death anniversary, let’s celebrate her watching Breakfast at Tiffany’s & listenting to her singing Moon River.
infinite x’s & o’s, my huckleberry friend.
Kerry — I bought it from a toy store years ago! xx
emiliaa — I’ve never seen a single Audrey Hepburn film… !
SQUEEEEE @ your wunnerful boots!!!
audrey hepburn never sang moon river, it was dubbed! personally i think this outfit is too much, but i understand the cold will want to make you layer up, and anyway thats just my style, not yours. however i love your t shirt.
Nice outfit. I like the juxtaposition between the edgy tee and boots, sporty hoodie and girly tiered skirt & pearls. I love that you dont feel you need to categorise yourself or your style!
never seen…!!
watch breakfast at tiffany’s. now. my style (ideally) lies somewhere between holly golightly, you, and dita von teese, and you have been missing out on inspiration and elegance if you have never watched her.
Ice Skating is sooooooooo fun. I do lessons every thursday and I love it
