Daily Outfit -- 22nd August 2007

[ 23 August 2007 ]

I received an email from Country Road last night, telling me they had a range of “casual athletic” wear in. There was a picture of a model wearing a sweater dress which I decided I loved, so I went in & tried it on… I liked how it looked, so I bought it. HOORAY! (I’ll spare you the photos I took in the dressing room!)

I’m so happy. Remind me to wear this a lot during spring, it will be too warm for summer!

    Ray — Haha, tell ‘em I sent you! It’s super-comfortable & a really good length, it’s actually wearable as a dress, unlike all those other long-top-cum-dress things which barely cover your butt & make you look awful unless you have gangly legs of DOOM!

  9. Those are very cool new glasses! If I ever get new glasses (I’ve had the pair I’ve got at the moment 5-6 years…my eyesight’s plateaued and I wear contact lenses most of the time) I want a pair like those – but in purple, of course!

  13. I love your glasses! And the dress looks super-warm – very sweatshirt-chic – I am thinking it will look great with lame leggings and a big wide belt – or with those SMOKING Pucci boots you showed us two days ago!
    I just cut my shoooort, by the way – I am sure it had something to do with reading this blog and swearing to take more style-risks – and yes, the first thing I did when I got back was read your post on short hair – I am thinking of wearing mine with wide printed Pucci-esque headbands and real pearls. And some Gala-style eyeliner flicks – this blog makes me SO happy!

  16. i love the glasses so much!!! i have always wanted glasses so bad…i guess eventually everyone needs them, but i want them now while i’m young. glasses are hot.

    the sweaterdress is fantastic as well…especially with you modeling it barefoot, it looks extra comfy.
