Daily outfit

<3 Pink & gold headscarf
<3 Pink & blue robot earring
<3 james & august Polo
<3 Black/grey kilt from Sportsgirl
<3 Black sparkly leggings, also from Sportsgirl
<3 Blue pvc heels from Patricia Field

I think this is the first polo top I’ve worn since I left school (we wore them for “physical education”, except they were much nastier than this one). I have always secretly lusted after polo tops, but thought I wouldn’t be able to pull it off. I think I managed it, though! I actually LOVEEE this shirt, especially the cut. It’s very flattering & long enough for my torso, HOORAY! It is incredibly comfortable & I adore the colour. Also, the pink crest! It says “JA” which stands for james & august but also means YES in German! I am happy to go around with YES on my chest!

Anyway, this is about as tennis chic as I think I am ever going to get. I like it a lot though.

  3. I too love polos, but I hate ending up looking like a sorority girl (or a pink polo double popped collar frat bro x.x) – I am really looking for non-traditional polos. I’ll check out james & august!

    Alice — Yeah, polos make me a bit nervous for the same reason. I’m not interested in looking conservative or ‘athletic’, so not my bag! Definitely give james & august a try, theirs are sooo cute & they have fabulous colours.

    Simone — My apartment is really warm! When I left the house, I wore a black knit sweater over the top!
