  3. love your mac..and by the way…you cut your fringe?? I tried doing this one time but…I didn’t obtain the results I wanted. I need more practice :P
(i’m posting twice because I don’t know why my comment was cut!! :( hehe)

  4. Eternity — Thank you! I like the length too, I’m just not sure that I like what it does to my face & overall appearance…

vanessa — I love my Mac too! Swoon! Re: the fringe, I went to Toni + Guy & had them do it for me. I used to cut my own hair but it was kind of a disaster, these days I am happy to pay someone else for their expertise! (Though, getting my fringe trimmed is free & just across the road, so even more reason to go there rather than risk stabbing my eyes out/trimming my eyebrows by mistake!)

  6. Man, that dress looks soooo comfy! I think I’d wear it a few times a week too. Cute and comfy, always a winning combo!

  7. Like I always say, I LOVE your fringe. I like this styling of the dress, too – you really suit black (you lucky minx) and the hood is stunning. Definitely another one of my favourite looks.

  8. this one time i tried to have bangs like that but it didnt work out. oh well. i love long sweaters. oh hey gala, we have the same birthday! what are you doing for yours?

  9. Ah, cute! You manage to look grown-up and professional no matter what you wear, it just amazes me. Especially when you manage to do it in a sweatshirt dress and neon hair!
My experience with fringe (or bangs, as we Americans call them) has led me to this conclusion- the most versitile length is just above the eyelashes and below the eyebrows. Then you can wear them all the way forward or swept to the side (I believe that look is called ‘swoopy bangs’) or hide them in a hair band, or several other things. When they’re much shorter, you almost have to wear them forward or they’ll stick out funny, and if they’re much longer then you have to wear them to the side, unless you like having hair in your eyeballs and sticking to your mascara, ha ha ha!
    Take care!

  10. Mae Jane — Anything made of sweatshirt material is dangerous because it’s so hard to wear anything else!

Laurel — They require so much upkeep, it’s crazy! I find that if my eyebrows are covered by my fringe that I look a bit weird & expressionless. I think this is the right length for me, but I had a fringe (& a bob) for YEARS, from age 7 to 17, so it always makes me feel young!

madelinne — Yay, birthday twins! I don’t know what I’m doing for mine. My mother is coming over from New Zealand so my guess is shopping & a nice dinner somewhere! How about you?

Kelly — Aw, thank you! I don’t think I look professional or grown-up at all, most of the time I feel like an alien in a dress-up box! Haha! But that’s very sweet of you to say, I appreciate your perspective!

  11. Fringe suits you. I think it looks both playful and sophisticated. Versatile, like you!

    <3 Morgan Marcani · Aug 25, 09:12 AM · #
  12. Morgan — Thank you very much!

Laurel — Yeah, since I have one at the moment, I think I’ll just work with it & see how I can wear it… it makes me feel a bit space-age & well-groomed which is a definite bonus! I think I just need to reclaim it & shake off the childhood baggage!
