Not so glamorous. My yoga outfit.
New, enormous, supremely-warm & happy-making cardigan from Country Road — I think I will probably wear this all winter with a pair of leggings, so let this be a warning to you!
Sass + Bide t-shirt. This came free with Harper’s Bazaar (& not a bad issue either, actually, though I left it in Wellington by mistake) & I decided I needed to own it because it says my middle name across the front: Lumière.
Tracksuit pants from Supre which are about the most comfortable, flattering pants I have ever owned. Sad but true. They are pilling & look a little worse for wear, I wonder if I will ever be able to replace them?
Turquoise sparkly headscarf. (Every yoga class needs a little glitter.)
I also wore shoes. & the class was magnificent, thank you for asking!
Super-love & cupcakes,

That t-shirt was free? Damn… wish that edition of HB was available in the UK!
Loving the cardi, btw :)
If you want a copy, I could send you one in the post if you hooked me up with a little bit of cash via Paypal!
You utter star, that would be great. I’ll email you my details x
Yes, those pants look very comfy! I wish that they made jeans with that wide of a leg.
I would also love that shirt and mag. They don’t have that here in the states. Would you be willing to hook me up as well?
i’m feeling the yoga LOVE! i’ve only been doing yoga for a month & it has done amazing things for me. I cried the entire last class, which i think was so helpful. Of course, it wasn’t wailing, just silent tears – but my body helped me release something.
i also love the t-shirt. love it! i think the best idea, ever, is having a masquerade ball when i inherit money. GADS OF CUPCAKES, of course, will be served!
so to reiterate, of course i love the t-shirt.
I loooove that cardigan from country road do they ship to the U.S. I would love that cardigan. I WANT THAT CARDIGAN!!!
i’ve been looking for something like that for a really long time.
I loove your cardigan, please tell me that they ship to the U.S. I WANT THAT CARDIGAN!!
I’ve been looking for one of these for a really long time!!!!
you noticed that i posted two times , i really want that cardigan!!!!
Aimee — For sure, I’m going to go to a newsagent today & see if they have any copies & also how much they are, so I’ll let you know!
Mary — Aww. That is so good. I’ve never had an emotional experience like that at yoga, but I usually do pretty dynamic classes & I think my brain is filled up with trying to concentrate on breathing!
Elida — I don’t think Country Road ships ANYWHERE, in fact I don’t think they even do online shopping, which is completely ridiculous. It was pretty reasonably priced though, I think about $180 NZ. Maybe I could send you one?
Not so glamorous? Are you kidding me?!
You look glamorous in anything + everything, hon! :)
I love love love your hair and headscarf in the pics! Looks fab :)
I had a look at our local mag shop in Wgtn for that issue of Harpers the other day and couldn’t see it:(
I really want that t shirt…I would be into a hooking up if you found a mass load of them and it wasn’t too much hassle to post them out…
Have you heard of/considered lululemon (http://www.lululemon.com/home) for yoga/tracksuit outfits? The cuts are excellent and they are very high quality. Plus the company has great environmental/employment policies.
I know that there is a store Chapel St., Melb, but I have not been there because I still have enough stuff from when I lived in Vancouver (where they are based) that is in perfect condition after years (no exaggeration) of abuse.
Thanks Gala. I will keep my fingers crossed. :)
Hmm… this could get confusing – 2 ‘Emma’s. However, I’m sure she was here before me, so, to save weird confusion when commenting, I shall resort to travelling_mango (don’t ask).
Though the other Emma lives in Wellington, so maybe I’ll pretend to be her instead… (beats Sheffield any day!)
haha I was also thinking of having to change my display name. So thankyou for adding traveling_mango (I won’t ask!) Although confusion could be fun! we could pretend to be each other ;)
Don’t know if you would be so keen on wgtn today, its snuggling in bed all day weather!
thanks to harper’s bazaar, i have that shirt too. :P it’s so comfy and stylish, i really love it. and lumiere is a beautiful name.
my boyfriend loved the shirt as well, but sadly it was too small for him.
Gala, a friend of mine in Canada saw this article and asked me if I could pick up Harper’s Bazaar for her and grab the tee. I had a look in the Melbourne Central Borders and saw two issues of HB, but they didn’t have anything included with them. The line was too long to ask if they kept that stuff behind the desk, so I had to abandon the search for today. Has she missed out, or is there still somewhere I can get the issue for her in Melbourne?
