Daily outfit

This is the first outfit I haven’t loathed in days. It has been tough recently! Yesterday I had a tantrum & tried taking photos of my pyjamas, which were about the only things I felt good in, but even those photos were disappointing, so, no dice.

<3 New silk headscarf, a gift from the lovely Nadia, acquired on one of her frequent op-shopping trips!
<3 White round-neck 3/4 sleeve tee from Portmans
<3 Blue hoodie from Diesel
<3 Black maxi-skirt
<3 Black leggings
<3 Cowboy boots
<3 Lots of bangles!

  3. I LOVE that headscarf. I have a whole lot of turquoise ones, but the only one with pink bits I’ve ever found has fallen to bits, boo.

  6. i’ve been having exactly the same week as you, clothes wise! maybe it’s a virgo thing, it’s wiggin’ me out! today i was finally able to pull together an outfit that looked pleasing after days of frustration… hmm! the colours of that head scarf are da bomb! you always look fab.

    I agree with Ray – this week is bad for clothes if you’re a Virgo. I’ve actually been looking forwards to dressing for work because it means I don’t have to go through the trauma of choosing an outfit! :P

    i think you need more colour on the lower half of your body, maybe a shorter skirt with colourful shoes. . .?

  16. You look fab! I am really loving your maxi skirt idea for winter, but haven’t seen any in shops yet here… Which is pretty much just an excuse to go thrifting!

    In terms of “a bad week” — I don’t think it’s limited to virgos. I’m an aries and have also been in a complete fashion funk. Monday – jeans, sneakers, t shirt. Tuesday – linen yoga pants, flip flops, t-shirt. Today is a little better – dirndl skirt, flip flops, layered tank tops, hoodie. Maybe tomorrow I’ll break away….?

  22. Oooh Gala… lookin good, girl! Love the twirly skirt goodness. I have never tried pairing hoodies with girly skirts and such, I’ll have to give it a try.
    I’m contemplating going back to shorter hair and I find your headscarf ideas inspiring. (Opoponax – Ditto on the Aries thing. Uggh! Bad week!)

  24. godddddd i love that skirt. i’ve been wearing long skirts again recently. at first it made me feel like a 14-year old goth again, haha! now i just think they’re so pretty.

    i found the best one ever in an op shop for $8 yesterday – ankle length, fishtail (i think that’s what the style’s called), bright red with tiny black polka dots. so cool!
