Daily Outfit -- 27th July 2007
[ 29 July 2007 ]
These photos are not colour-corrected. I think I was the brightest person on the street yesterday.

Pink pomp (not as high as the other day, though!)
Silk Kate Sylvester dress
Black v-neck top
Black stockings
New Rock boots
Fake fur coat
Pashmina
Sunglasses!
New bag :D
I also tried on a ridiculous hat which made it look like a bunny was eating my head…

Today we’re going to the Paddington Market & then to a day spa. BLISS!
Super-love & cupcakes,
Gala ![]()

You look gorgeous! I bet you’re having tons of fun =)
YAY how exciting!!
Oh BTW I’m working on my own blog; once it’s up & ready I’ll let you know so you can maybe check it out. You have inspired me to go for it 100%.
kisses
The hat itself is truly stupid, and yet . . . you look really good in it. Odd.
i WANT that bunny hat!
Oooh, wonderful.
My initial reaction, however, was: Watch the silk dress on that brick, Gala!!
i recognise those places!! i’m so easily amused, it would seem :)
Oh, I can’t wait to go back to Sydney and see all those places again. Especially Haymarket. I love it there.
ooh i love that hat! its ridiculous!
the bunny hat is adorable.
and the pomp is so freakin’ hawt. =]
I love that your nailpolish matches your hair. Magenta pink nailpolish is great.
Gala, you look really, amazingly beautiful in those pictures. I’m absolutely going to get those boots now!!! Do they still make ones like yours? Are they comfy? They just work so well with that outfit!
You make your surroundings look drab.
I hope you bought that fantastic hat!
i am SO jealous that you get to be in sydney right now. I WANNA GO. i am almost crying looking at my screen!!
Oh my lord! Where did you find that bunny hat? I know it is awful…but I want one very, very much.
Hehe, I have a picture of me dancing around that fountain in Sydney. :]
Some random tourist took a photo of me as well. Which was creepy. :P
I was sure i’d seen you in melbourne this week and you were blonde!!
LOL!
Bunnies are vicious, dangerous critters…I hope your head came out unscathed!
You look wonderful! Fantastic photos!
That bunny hat is so fun! I love the colour of that pashmina, it goes so well with your hair :)
As blatently wonderful as that bunny hat is, it does not seem as thrilled as one might expect to be placed on the bonce of Miss Darling.
Clearly it needs to be introduced to the future: GALA
Wow day spa yum!
I loves spas so much my boyfriend calls me ‘spa head’.
Can’t believe you didn’t get my package yet-i hope that it’s not lost forever cos that would be the worst thing in the world :(
Mari — Yes, definitely, send me your URL when you’re done, I’d love to see it!
Nadine — Hahah. I love it but wouldn’t wear it. I would have about a year ago but my style has changed since then! I have a hat which is cow-print with fake horns! I bought it in London years ago & have NEVER worn it.
gilda — It’s pretty cute, huh?!
Lou — It’s actually surprisingly resilient! I can’t wear anything too delicate, I am not a delicate girl!
Julie — That’s my mother’s influence. All through the eighties she had hot pink nails, & when we got manicures last week she encouraged me to go for it, haha.
anon — Thank you, that is so sweet! I think they still make New Rocks like mine, but it’s a rare occasion that I see a shop selling a decent range of them these days. You should check out their website really. & yes, they are supremely comfy. I have owned mine since 1996.
Sherry — No, I didn’t! I just knew I wouldn’t wear it. Though it would look good in a frame…
annaloren — Awww! Why do you love Sydney so much?
Jessie Ngaio — Paddy Markets in Sydney :>
Miri — That whole area is tourist central! Being there was a bit weird because I am not into “sight-seeing” etc., but I HAD to go somewhere called DARLING harbour, haha.
hipi — Nope! Not me! Obviously I have a doppelganger!
Sephy — You crack me up :D
joleeeeeeeeen — I think it’s probably sitting in my PO box in Melbourne, but as I’m in Sydney, I have no way of checking it! I look forward to getting it on Thursday when I go home! Never fear babycakes!
You make me miss my pink hair! I just don’t think my corporate office job will be as accepting – then again, they may just put it down to ‘Oh she’s one of those wacky designers…’
OMG! Can I steal that bunny hat!?!?!?!?!?
And your boots!?!?!?!?!?
