Tonight I went to the opening night party of Black In Fashion, an exhibition at the NGV featuring oodles of beautiful pieces by Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Balenciaga, Comme Des Garçons (etc.). It was AMAZING!

This is me outside the NGV. Just hanging, you know. Chillin’ like a villain.

& THIS IS ME HANGING OUT WITH ZANDRA RHODES !!!!!!!

Look at her outfit! She looks like a psychedelic spacewoman! She was wearing enormous see-through stripper platforms & a holographic necklace & god, she looked incredible. She is also mind-blowingly charming & nice!

Also, I have to say, I love how your ring matches your hair colour – the blue really sings with the rest of your outfit. I’ve come to the conclusion that your hair is Tanzanite blue.   21. Kat! — Haha. When I got my invitation I was like, ‘Hmmm, I wonder if Zandra will go’. (Because she’s in town for fashion week.) I told my friend Nicole that I thought she might be there & that we should keep our eyes peeled for a hot pink bob. & then, lo & behold, she was behind me on the escalator :D

    buckycatt — What would you like to know? I own four TT rings, all purchased on Ebay because the TT site charges as much for shipping as it does for the product. One is yellow with a pink skull, I have the blue one in the picture & then a pink one exactly the same, & I have a huge pink sparkle bauble.

  26. I love those Lamé leggings. I want a pair so badly, but I can’t afford it at the moment… are they comfortable to wear? And are they durable? I bought a cheap lycra pair of leggings a while ago and they started to fade a little, which is to be expected for a cheap pair, but I don’t want to have to fork out $64 for a good pair only for them to do the same.

    You look great! Can’t wait to see your outfits for fashion week!!

  27. Jamie — I had to wear all black at Lush, it drove me mad. Eventually I basically came up with a type of uniform which consisted of a striped (grey/black) sweater, a black t-shirt with some kind of print, & a black skirt worn over black pantaloons with my New Rocks. & jewellery. Très gothique ;D

    Kerry — Mine are holding up really well. I have a purple pair which are looking a bit dull, but the black pair seem to be more durable or something. They’re very comfortable, too :>
