Daily Outfit, 4th February 2007.

This is what I wore to see opera in the park.

I also had a long black sweater with me in the case the temperature dropped, which tied the shoes in, but it was far too warm for any of that sort of nonsense. (I ended up carrying it instead.) I thought the shoes might be a bit severe to go with the dress by itself, but it actually ended up looking really good — bold & dramatic. The shoes also managed to offset the bindi, too. A bindi with this dress is almost verging on obscene-hippy-chic but the shoes saved it. Phew!
