I’m dressed in honour of my amazing friend Ana. She has a cute pink knit hat which she always wears, & she is a huge fan of wearing leggings that stop short above her New Rock boots.

  1. i love this outfit! (especially the cardigan). i’m jealous of the fact that you are just starting to wear sweaters as i’m shedding them. I think sweaters are one of my favourite things & urgh, we have so MUCH cashmere at the vintage shop i work at.

    anyway, i’m plotting to send you a giant box of scarves & perhaps a nifty sweater or three. I think this is tres sweet you dedicated the post to Ana & eee! the cat.

  2. Rarrrrr cashmere! Drool-o-rama! You wouldn’t tease a girl, would you?!

    It’s quite weird to be in Melbourne for winter, as I understand it gets REALLY cold here. Auckland is kind of a humid/tropical climate so even when it’s winter, it’s humid a lot of the time. So this is my first “real” winter in a long time. Thankfully our apartment has great heating :>

    You are so sweet, I feel guilty for being the recipient of such amazing things! Did you get your Cupcake yesterday? At the top I wrote about the dress you sent me — I can’t do it up with someone to help! BOOOO! It looks sooo cute on though :D

  3. ahahaha! I DID catch my cupcake & laughed. I’m happy you like it & i cannot wait until Si reappears so i can see photos of it.

    i was perusing the dollar bin & found the CUTEST gunne sax dress – its brown & kind of heidi-esque. I didn’t know if it was your kind of style, but i’m seriously going to find all kinds of insanely cute stuff. If you can e-mail me your measurements, there’s loads of amazing tiny things i love but cannot fit & would be MORE than happy to send to you. There’s a great cupcakish 50s blue taffeta number that i want OH SO BADLY & it is poofy & fabulous.

    honey, don’t feel guilty. Please take it as a gift for how happy your blog makes me. srsly. It is one of the few things i actually read through daily. You are SUCH an inspiration to me!!! & the cashmere isn’t a tease – the stuff is so frakkin’ cheap at my store, its unbelievable. We have multitudes of colour. Any preferences? We’ve got the rainbow, baby.
