super cute Gala! I’m digging your skirt and Nubby’s vest. :)
You two look fabulous as two fabulous ladies can! :D Every time I see your Mickey Mouse hat, I reallyreally want one but when I went to Disneyland last year I couldn’t find a suitable one :( Aw.
i love the mickey mouse ears! i’ll be picking some up when i visit disneyland in LA for my holiday!
I love this! I feel scared you’ll fall though…even though you very obviously didn’t!
You two look cute!

Amy — We survived, hee!
Poochie — Done & done! twitter.com/nubbytwiglet !
gilda — YAY! Regan is the best, right? Hope you have an amazing time!
You both look fantastic! Punk chic—I love it!
The first thing I thought when I saw this was “How did they get up there?” and an image popped into my head of both of you floating up with umbrellas, Mary Poppins style.
Of course the second thing I thought was “Awesome outfits!” I’m especially lusting after Nubby’s vest.
My gods…you two are the sex! Especially in the first photo.
If you were an item I think the world would die from the hotness.
I hope that’s not offensive to either of you. It’s supposed to be a compliment :]
i love your shoes, they’re absolutely gorgeous!
I heart Daily Outfit. One of my favourite features of your site!
The two most gorgeous girls of the blogging world!
awwwww you guys!! youse are soo cute. so stylin. your definetly kindred spirits..grrrl powah unite!! xxoo
ps. my your selling new york so well with these backdrops..& are you using a different/better camera? or is the light in new york different?..they just look different all of a sudden..
Your photos are gorgeous, Gala! You both look utterly fabulous :) xoxo
Oh god I am totally in love with Nubby’s shoes and vest! The shoes are like tap or character shoes, and the vest is like a Swanndri!! Also I truly love red. As for you, Miss Gala, I love your legs and your bracelets and your vixeny skirt, and the way you’re posed on what I though was a skateboard bowl. (It is so blimmin’ freezing here. I’m wearing thermal leggings and a petticoat and TWO pairs of socks. Because I wanted to wear a skirt.)
i love nubby’s outfit!
I am very concerned about your skirt getting all scuffed up on that concrete!
Heee
My Gosh!!!! You are both so gorgeous!!!!! Looks like you are having a fantastic time! Hope you continue to do so :)
Ah! You both are so well dressed! If I could, I’d kiss you both right on the lips!
xox,
dayna desastre
I adore all 3 pictures but the first one sticks out to me. You remain to be a huge inspiration and thank you for the pictures. =]
muah!
Wow, those are awesome pictures! Also, I’m totally in love with Nubby’s shoes.
OMG! So cute. You’re just two stylish pals hanging out on the roof. These are things wonderful day dreams are made of. Adorable.
Gala I absolutely LOVE your skirt! A leather mini skirt is not an easy piece to rock and you own it =o) whoohoo!
Nubby’s shoes are sooooo delicious, and I see I’m not the only one lusting after them!!
Love how you manage to rock a leather mini, and not look like your an 80s metal groupie, i now officially want a leather mini skirt after seeing how funkalicious it can be!
so cute!
i love nubby’s vest and your shoes are the bomb-diggity!
and the view is amazing of course
how did you guys get up there?
PS i got a twitter account yay! and i’m “following” you ahahha
that sounds so stalkerish
Hey Gala, long time reader, first time poster. Just wondering a couple of things. Are you still eating raw, and if you are, are you actually a vegetarian/vegan? And if you ARE either of those things, what is your view on wearing leather? (Or fur for that matter.)
On another note, Nubbys vest is bangin’, any idea where I can pick up something similar in NZ, for a reasonable price?
I’m still in awe of those shoes!
On a side note, you should totally get involved in this while you’re in NYC: improveverywhere.com
They have some hilarious, fun missions!
x
So how did you get on the roof? Are you allowed to just go up on any roof around the place with stair access or did you actually know someone in the building? Coz I really wanna go and hang out on a roof now :)
I had to buy maternity pants today. Elastic waisted pants – not stylish in the least. But I’m totally rocking the man shirts with vests and hippy hemp babydoll stuff that fits over the bump. I will just live vicariously through you, Gala – indulge and inspire me :)
You both look amazing! I am lusting after both of your shoes.
I wished I lived somewhere cool so that I could take pictures on a roof top. I also wish my friends weren’t so camera shy. They’re getting better though :)
For some reason I always find your rooftop photos really cool!
Clearly the two most stylish girls in all of NY! Those licorice strap shoes have been giving me pangs of envy for a while now, so I recently bought a pair of platform heels for myself, to see what all the fuss was about.
They are UTTERLY fabulous, satin, leopard print peeptoes with a patent black platform, and make my legs look killer, but goodness knows I can only get 3 hours wear out of them before my feet just give up and I need to repel them from me lest my poor toes fall off. Any tips on how to wear my skyscrapers without killing my poor tootsies?
Bisou!

beautiful photos.
Hi Gala!
I’ve been subscribing to your blog for just over a year now. I must admit to being a ‘lurker’, but today I thought I’d tell you how much I adore reading your articles, and especially seeing your glam daily outfits!
I also really enjoyed Audrey’s ‘monsieur’ articles, and I’m wondering why he doesn’t write them anymore. Does he have his own blog now?
Cheers,
Nia xoxo
I have never, ever wanted to go to New York City until I saw these pictures today.
You must love Nubby a lot to lend her your mousey ears.
Ms Constantine — Ahh you’re so cute. We are considering getting married anyway ;D
cookie — Thank you! & I’m still using the same camera… just maybe I am getting better with it?!
witnit — Haha, aw, it was fine! It’s not actually concrete, it’s some other weird material… totally smooth.
Dayna Desastre — We would smooch you right back!
Jay — I don’t do labels. I eat what feels right for my body, & most frequently that is raw food, no meat, & no dairy. But that’s not to say I won’t eat a slice of pizza if I feel like it. I have no problem with wearing leather, & I wouldn’t buy a new fur coat but I am alright with vintage ones. I only own faux fur at this point, though!
Song — It’s the roof of my building; I’m on the 5th floor & the roof is the 6th, so I just go up a flight of stairs. It isn’t locked or anything. Fun times yo!
Samantha — Unfortunately some shoes are just uncomfortable. In fact, most heels kill. You’re fortunate if you can find a pair that don’t ruin you! So other than using foot petals inside your shoes, there isn’t much you can do…
Nia — Audrey has been in the process of putting his own blog together since the start of the year. He has registered a domain but there’s nothing up yet. When there is, I plan on mentioning it :>
Liina — Oh my god, cutest comment ever. That’s exactly the sort of thing we were hoping to inspire!
Sal — I really do :D
Gala – I love those shoes. But I feel dizzy just seeing you on that roof. You don’t look one bit scared – how did you get up there to begin with?
