Gala's International Dress Up Day #006 Video!

[ 22 July 2007 ]

When I was young, I wanted to be a chocolate tester. I think we can blame Roald Dahl (my hero) for that — Charlie & The Chocolate Factory was a major book for me.

These days, I don’t have the stamina to totally gorge myself. Just eating that one chocolate made me feel ill! It’s one of the sad truths of getting old, haha!

  3. Haha, nope, there were no Wonka sweets. If you can believe it, all that stuff was already lying around my house… isn’t that SHAMEFUL?!

  4. hahaha! well not shameful... i do have snacks and various sweets at home too, but that sure is a lot of lollies :) but anyway that was such a fun video!! i loved the song that went along with it. and i can’t bring myself to read what you wrote about gorging on one lousy chocolate because last night i ate like a truckload. i’m not sure having “stamina” is a good thing at all.

  5. I ate a huge meal last night & an enormous dessert, so I really had to force myself to have that chocolate! I just wasn’t hungry. When I am though, get out of the way of the cupcakes! I can eat like 6 in one sitting. Hahah.

  7. That was so hilariously cute!

Definitely provided the motivation for me to get out of bed…

(I stayed in bed for two hours after waking up, trawling on my laptop, and eating sweets from a bowl from last night instead of breakfast…blegh)

Opium — I am so behind on my email it makes me cringe to look at my inbox. I’ll make my way through it tomorrow :> & the song is ‘sneaker song’ by Plus-Tech Squeeze Box!

  14. A chocolate tester What a fantastic idea!

I can’t believe you had all that candy in your place. I would eat it all in one sitting!

  15. Hahaha, oh wow, that was so cute! Your bubblegum pink hair just matches the video and your childhood ambitions perfectly! :D

    <3 Rose · Jul 23, 06:11 AM · #
  16. hyuju — Haha, I hope they liked it!

tee tee — All those lollipops, ugh, just looking at them makes my teeth hurt! I originally bought them because I made up little packets of candy for my friends & me to take to the movies, but they’re all left over & have just been sitting on the top shelf of the pantry for about six months!

Rose — I think childhood me would like me today!
