  2. i was born with a club foot and because of the various (8+) operations i had on it to help straighten it during my younger years, i have a 90% fusion in my left ankle which means i have never, and i mean NEVER worns heels.

    yes it’s true gala, i don’t know what it is like to put on some heels and instantly feel taller, sexier, slimmer etc.

    indeed if i could, i would chose this mans heels.

  4. Oh Manolo, how I dream about you and your shoes and go into Burke St Myers and pretend that I can afford you, so they will let me try you on.

    Is it perfectly acceptable to ask for shoes for my 21st that are worth more than my car? Even if I chose sensible ones like mary-janes which I will wear every single day and show off to every single person that I know or don’t know for that matter?

  6. I have the same life goal, Juls! I decided that when I finally start making a decent, steady income, and have all my finances in order, I will buy myself Manolos as an “I’m a big girl for reals!” present.

    In other words, after all the years I have paying student loans. :/

  10. I wore mine to work today having my own little Manolo party of one! Spent the day strutting around like I owned the world… It was fab!
    The only problem with Manolo’s though, is they’re not completely dissimilar to Pringles… “Once you pop you can’t stop”! I’m already saving up for my next pair!
    Also, credit must go to my wickedly awesome brother for hooking me up! You still rock and I think of you every time I slip them on! xxx
