iCiNG Loves ModCloth!

[ 18 March 2008 ]

This month, iCiNG was brought to you, in part, by ModCloth.com — an online boutique selling vintage & indie clothes, accessories & gee-gaws!

Thank you so much, ModCloth, for keeping us running! We luuuuurve you!

If you’re not familiar with the site, go & have a look! Now! It is a great place to go for awesome, unique things — & even better, the prices are exceptionally reasonable.

These are my two favourite things right now.

ModCloth goodies!

The I heart umbrella & coat of arms necklace make me swoon! (I love anything with a crest or weird heraldry, so I think that necklace is perfect!) I also love their toadstool lamp (SO cute) & their cupcake key covers!

ModCloth is owned by a woman called Susan, who started her business four years ago, between finishing high school & starting college. She now has a bunch of employees & does it full-time. She is living proof that you can love your work, make a living & maintain your integrity! Rawk!

Susan!
Susan & business partner Shahrzad. Aren’t they cute?!

P.S. In addition to sponsoring iCiNG, Susan has hooked us up a little discount. If you enter the code GALA at checkout, you’ll receive a superb 10% off all treasures! Whee! I thought you should know… it would be mean not to tell you!

Super-love & cupcakes,
Gala <3

  10. OMG everything on that site is delish!!!
I have a little question for you.. there is a site called www.freerice.com and its a little game thing where you test your vocab and for every one you get right the site donates 20grains of rice which is distributed by the United Nations World Food Program (WFP).. I just thought taht seeing as your website is viewed by so many people, if you did a small article on this, so much rice would b donated and people would have a meal..

    x o x

PS: the umbrella earring stand & mixed tape pillow cases r love!!

  15. I feel really sad that I’ve never ordered anything from them yet. I have been pining over their stuff since they started.

They are even based in my hometown (Pittsburgh, represent!) And I had even met one of their employees at a show! He asked me my opinion of the concert and posted it to their blog!

I think I need to take advantage of that coupon code!

  17. www.umbrellasusa.com/index.php…
This is a good site for american customers and you can buy the clear one and throw you own vinyl sticker on it to personalize it!

  19. Darn it.

A pet peeve of mine is when people use the wrong “there, their, your, and you’re” at the wrong time and I just did it! AH!

I meant to say “The clothes over there are fabulous.”
