That sounds similar to Simone de Beauvoir’s existential concept of transcendence and immanence! She believed that allowing people to carry out their own personal projects and move about freely throughout the world was key to bringing equality to men and women.

I saw Ani DiFranco play at the Palais in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. i was lucky enough to be in row B in the centre! she has a brilliant presence on stage, and is a completely inspiring woman.
I’d never heard about her before but I thought it was a beautiful performance.
I really really wanted to go swimming yesterday (its hitting mid thirties around here) but instead I stayed home finishing my first paragraph of my essay which took four hours. And then I took the puppies walking and had a early night instead.
Today I finally went swimming and it was so fun, I was just giggling and feeling beautiful and so free(even though I can’t really swim!) I just wanted to share that with you.

I love Ani! I went through this whole super-feminist phase when I was 13 or 14, and Ani was all that I listened to! I also played (more like butchered, but whatever) ‘not a pretty girl’ at this school concert thing. She is such an amazing human being!

I don’t know if you’ve posted this before, so apologies if you have. But I am trying to make the switch to raw food, but have no idea of what to have on a daily basis. Could you perhaps post what you’d make on a normal day?
AH, I’ve watched too many episodes of Wife Swap on Foxtel, and I’ve come to the conclusion that a lot of men project the traditional and sexist roles of man and woman as they need to be in control. And because of this, I’m not ever going to change for someone else to accept me.

Things are going good in the relationship department.. opening up and communicating more are really helping our long distance stance!! yayness.. and he has been super cute and fully planned a romantic valentines weekend.. ohhh cant wait to find out what my surprises will be!!
