iCiNG Transformation Challenge -- Mailing List!

[ 12 April 2008 ]

Okay, my darlings! The response to the iCiNG Transformation Challenge has been amazing! I’m so excited!

There are nine days to go until we start. Dun dun dun dunnnn! But I had a brainwave the other day, & as such, have created a mailing list so that everyone who takes part can stay motivated & on top of things!

Every day of the challenge, I’ll be sending out short emails to everyone who wants them, with tips, motivation, & general Gala-esque cheerleading! It’s about as close as I can get to doing an encouraging jig in your living room!

If you want to jump on board, sign up below. I’ll start sending you messages of love, cheer, invigoration & fortitude a few days before the iTC starts… & we’ll take it from there!

(On that note, are you subscribed to the Cupcake mailing list yet? Every Thursday I send out news & pictures as well as a secret mission… Click here for more info!)

Super-love & cupcakes,
Gala <3

  12. Hi Gala and Nonpareils,

This is a completely unrelated post, but I thought you’d like to hear about it.

When the gorgeous Icing online store opened I promptly ordered a fabulous Cupcake Eater Fitted Black tee www.printfection.com/icing/Cup…

It came in the mail the other day and I opened it with delight only to find that the size I had ordered was too big (should have listened to Gala when she said the sizing was generous).

I promptly emailed Printfection to arrange an exchange. The lovely Jacqueline emailed back – within a day… very speedy – and asked which size I would like instead. I replied with the size and waited with bated breath.

Tonight I arrive home to the following email from Jacqueline.

“I have submitted a new order… to be sent to you. Your new order # is ####. There is no need to send the original back- we merely ask that you donate it to your local charity.”

Printfection – you guys rock my world!!!!!

Not only do I get a fab shirt in my size but I get to share the Icing love with someone else. I am going to donate it to my local women’s shelter.

I don’t know if you had anything to do with this Gala, but I am overwhelmed and overjoyed by the whole experience.

    Thanks

  13. Oh… and I’ve registered for the challenge also.

  14. Gala, I’ve subscribed to your Cupcake mailing list—twice! And my mailbox is sad and empty every week.

And I’m super excited for the iCiNG challenge!

  15. Sign me up! I think we’re all going to need support for this if we’re going to be making any sort of major changes, so this is great!

Although, if we could arrange an encouraging jig in our living room…

  16. I signed up to both newsletters. I think I’ve really come to this blog at the right time!

  17. I signed up as well! I think my goal is to practice EFT each day, every day on a different “problem.”

    Thank you!

  18. How is it that you seem to come up with these amazing ideas just when I need them? I’ve been meaning to lose two pounds or so before summer starts, but I’m so unmotivated. Hopefully with you and all the lovely people here, I’ll feel more up to it.

Now to come up with my goals..

    <3 Lizzie · Apr 13, 08:35 AM · #
  19. I’m so excited about this!!!!

Gala, have you maybe thought about making another podcast for the Transformation Challange? I love listening to them on the way to school, and giggle at the idea of you telling me “Move that ass!” as l walk run up the hills.

On second thought, telling me l’m fabulous and will succeed at what l want would also get me up the hill.

    What do you think?

    <3 Kahlia · Apr 13, 01:39 PM · #
  20. Yep, Subscribed! I just got some new sneakers the other day, and I’m going to get a skipping rope too! I’m trying to do a few different things, so i don’t get bored!

  22. I’ve tried signing up for the mailing list two or three times before, and never got anything, is there a confirmation email that I’m not getting or something?

    <3 Ipsum · Apr 13, 04:43 PM · #
  23. Denya — That is SO cool. I didn’t know that was their policy! Reading about it made me smile so much!

Kahlia — BRILLIANT idea, I’m totally going to do it :>

Ipsum — You should get a confirmation email. If it’s not coming through, check your spam box or use a different email address!

I can’t believe how popular this is… I’ve had almost 700 of you sign up so far! AMAZING!

    <3 Gala · Apr 13, 05:12 PM · #
  24. Yay!!! Looking forward to it!

    <3 Kahlia · Apr 13, 06:41 PM · #
  25. I haven’t commented yet, but I have been stalking your website for quite a while (especially loving the surprise me button) and you’re being so inspiring, the more often I read it, the more I drink, eat more raw things etc.. and of course I immediately signed up for the transformation and besides for your regular cupcake newsletter. Yay! I can’t wait. I want to work out and eat healthier, sounds very general but I have a few things in mind :)
so, all in all, i really want to thank you for what you are doing, so many post make me happy, remember me to do certain things.. you really fulfill your goal to make your readers’ lives better!

  27. hi gala this is a little unrelated – apologise! but i am wondering if EFT can help in the treatment of panic attack disorder/intense panic attacks. please let me know if you can, life is tough right now :(

    <3 kristen · Apr 14, 02:49 AM · #
  28. kristen — Yes, it can! In fact, it’s amazing for it. If you’re feeling panicky, just tap your karate chop point repeatedly & I promise it will calm you down. But if you want to remove the root cause of the problem, you’ll need to do a bit of work on it. Check out these links for ideas…

    Good luck! It works :>

    <3 Gala · Apr 14, 03:09 AM · #
  29. Kristen, I’ve found the karate chop point can help to stave off a panic attack if I can feel one coming. Gala’s right- using full EFT can definitely help lots. Good luck!
