Oui, my darlings, the theme for International Dress Up Day #006 is…

Dress as your childhood ambition!

Whether you wanted to be Madonna, a fire-fighter, the first female president or just like your dad, it’s time to gussy yourself appropriately! Make your 5 year old self proud!

i.D.U.D. #006 takes place on Saturday the 21st of July, & I’ll be accepting pictures, video, stories, & whatever else you throw at me until Thursday the 26th. Looking forward to it!

  4. ooh, when i was little i wanted to be a ballerina, veterinarian, writer, zookeeper…this should be fun :]
    and i get to dress up two days in a row because the day before i’m going to see some local bands and then to the HARRY POTTER RELEASE PARTY WOOOO ahaha

YESSSSSSSSS!!!! this is sooo exciting. well i wanted to be a vet but that idea lasted 3 months then for years i wanted to be a pirate! yay! well luckily i only had these two dreams and the pirate was the main one. i think amanda lee and nikkidee will have some tough choices to make. :) heh heh!

  6. OMG!!! this is going to be so funny. Amongst other things I wanted to be a Bank Clerk when I was about eight (I liked handling money!) I also wanted to be a neck-rope aerialist in the circus! Not sure how I’ll pull this off but I’m definitely up for it!! Can’t wait to see the piccies this time!

    (Yes. I was the little girl who’d write in her journal everyday, starting from the age of 5. LOL!)

  19. I wanted to be a witch (for real, I was so annoyed that all the witches were evil in the stories I read) then a faerie (because of witches being evil) and then an actress and then a singer…so should I dress as an faerie actress/singer who got where she is using witchcraft?

  20. oh gosh the more i think about this saturday the more excited i get. it’s so exciting reading all the comments too. ok i’m officially crazy. and i’m supposed to be busy applying for my student visa to the US!! i need to find the perfect accessories. think i’m going to the fabric store tomorrow. yay!!!

  22. I wanted to be a paleontologist. And a princess. Perhaps I will take my stuffed stegosaurus, Boris, on my anniversary trip with my boyfriend this weekend and have him take pictures of me digging him out of various sandboxes with a tiara on my head. Yay!
