Hello my darlings!

This is a bit of a boring administrative post, so sorry in advance! (I picked a rad picture though, so even if it doesn’t apply to you, you have something good to look at!)

I have been having some issues with my server & the hosting of the MP3s for Love & Sequins. We’ve been looking at it for ages & can’t seem to figure out what the problem is, which is super-frustrating for everyone involved!

However! I’ve just uploaded all the MP3s elsewhere, so if you’ve had trouble wrapping your ears around yours, just forward me your Paypal receipt & I’ll send you an alternative download link!

  3. Mermaid — I dressed as a girl with a headache, aka myself! I went shopping during the day & then got an EPIC headache at about 6pm. Super lame! I went out to dinner with Chloe & The Dish, then went home for snuggling! HOW BORING! What did you dress as? Did you have a good time?

    martha — I know, isn’t it great? I wish I knew who made it. I have had it on my computer since 2004 (!!!).

Gala: I used to be able to listen to all of my L&S podcasts on my iPod, but for some weird reason, lately whenever I try to listen to one it will only play for one or two minutes before going BLOOP! and skipping to another one. Has anyone else had this problem? Is my iPod going nuts? It doesn’t seem to be happening to anything else on my iPod, though, so I wonder if it’s an exclusively Love & Sequins thing…

    meggy — That’s super-weird. I don’t know why it would suddenly start doing that! My only suggestion is to download them again & put them back on your iPod…

  9. Gala: Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I suppose this means that I’ll have to resend all of my PayPal receipts. I’m crossing my fingers that I still have them, gulp! I only got to listen to #6 once before this whole problem started, but it was amazing.

  11. Uh oh, I don’t have my Paypal receipt anymore… I DO have the actual email from you though. Is that enough proof of purchase? I’ve only had one podcast – the problem I found with that one was a sound thing… the first 5 minutes or so I can’t listen to – it’s like a high-speed dubbing, chipmunky sound LOL.

  12. Aww I was hoping for epic halloween fashion, but I hope you’re feeling better! I was an elephant & The Magician was a zombie on 3 foot stilts. He was truly terrifying & I honestly got a little scared every time his 10 foot tall self lumbered across the bar at me!

    I also love that artwork! Please let me know if you ever discover the artist!

  13. I know exactly who made that! That’s definitely by Lauren Albert. Her style has changed a lot and she has a livejournal (her name is no_growing) where she puts a lot of her work.
    If you look at her really old work at her deviant art ( trance-orange.deviantart.com ) you will see that that is hers.
