OOH, I love them.

These came from Sportsgirl. Reduced from $180 to $30, they are my bargain of the week. Even better, they are incredibly comfortable! Sportsgirl is very low on sizes & colours though, so if you want some, I recommend picking them up tout de suite!

  2. Ohhh my god. Fabulous! I’ve been looking for a new pair of wedges for about 3 years (yes, obviously haven’t been looking too hard), and these are so nice! Mine are butchered. I should head on down to Sportsgirl haha.

  3. Oh my goodness. I wore shoes with wedges about half that size and my feet were killing me! However, they are admittedly too cute. I love those tights as well!

    I just had another of my so-crazy-if-you-wrote-that-in-a-movie-script-they’d-reject-it-because-it’s-too-much days.

    Last night my alcoholic ex who i broke up with last MAY got drunk & decided to go break havoc at my bar where I work & then he broke the window to get in the lobby of my apartment building and tried to force himself in my apartment!! Luckily, after trying to dissuade him to leave the bar, I had the good sense to seek refuge at a friends place. The neighbours & manager called the police, he was arrested for breaking & entering. DAMN!! And today I had to walk like one hour in a snowstorm to go to the police station [I looked like the yeti when I got back to civilization & ordered a martini in the first bar in sight!! It made me feel better instantly!!] I got a restraining order, he cant come near me or my place or the bar, I am so proud of me…

    I was just coming back from being in a snowstorm & all… you can sort of see that “return of the vaincquoi, but damn tired, fighter” look on my face :)

    I just want to say to anyone: do not take any abuse! Call the police & seek help! No one deserves to be harassed, scared, manipulated or intimidated and never again will I let this happen to me!

    I dont know why I felt like telling you this but anyways ! I hadnt posted here in awhile because I had lost my free wifi connexion at home!! I guess the people I am picking it up from just came back from Xmas vacation!

    so now I am relaxing & erasing this person from my websites & spending quiet time with my cat Aimé. He mustve been so scared when that fool banged in the door fr like 10 minutes!!! :////

  11. Juls — That is crazy! I love wedges, find them supremely comfortable. I think having the weight distributed evenly across the foot is what makes them so comfortable. If you want wedges, you need to look at the bottom of the shoe — the bit that hits the pavement. If it’s narrow, the odds of falling over are pretty high!

  15. Those are lovely! I’d have a tough time wearing them though :-( I’m not blessed with lovely ankles, mine are bordering on a cankle (genetics, what can you do?) so I have to steer clear of ankle straps/anklets etc. etc.
