You guys are too cute! When I go to Melbourne I’m making you hang out with me.
Eeeeee! Cute!
I love photobooths.
None near me (that I know of) have designs that are that cute, though :
Sweet!! One day, I’m going to have a photobooth in my house. Mhmm.
you pair of cuties!
alicia — We’d love to :D
Char — Me too! I love them so much. I want one old-fashioned sort & one Japanese. Dave Navarro has one in his house, it’s so cool.
You are both so cute! Looks like you had fun. The only photoboothes I know of are found in theme parks. I want to search around for closer ones now. :)
holy cow you two are so damn cute together!!! shucks!! i wanna take purikuras too!!
arrrg, i love photobooths. My favorite thing is eating giant cupcakes in them. The photos are so cute. Try it (you may have to sneak the cupcakes in) !!!! glee
-Char, i had never even thought about the possibility of owning a booth. You are the awesome!
Too cute! I am SO HAPPY that you are liking the earrings :)
Today’s Carousel rocks – I am going to buy some truffle oil asap for my cheddar sandwiches! And I love the Kate Spade lay-out – am totally inspired to wear cocktail rings and brightly coloured tights! Am taking along a pair of bright red tights to wear this weekend – am seeing an old friend in lovely, green Cambridge. We are going to go boutique-hopping, watch Bollywood dvds with awesome dance numbers, and I am going to wear an all-grey outfit brightened up by my scarlet tights – have a fab weekend, Gala!
Gala, are the purikura machines there expensive?
I know the ones we have here (Edmonton, Canada) are $7-8 for one round, which I found surprising, considering the ones in Japan are only $4-5 (400-500y).
Very cute! :)
Ammu — Yay yay! This is the first time I’ve actually been able to wear them in my properly-pierced ears! xxxx
emilyyy — They’re between $12 & $14. OUCH. Really expensive, but you know, worth it. I guess ;D
12 bucks!?!?!?!?
ouch is right! wow. the expensive ones in japan are like 10 bucks but those are like fancy-pancy.
i wish i could find a purikura booth in new york. anyone here knows if there’s one available in manhattan? :)
awww! cuties :).
where i live, we just call them “stickeys” x) and they are actually seriously cheap. well, because i live in hong kong which is near japan so…ye x).
xxx
Ooh! Funness!
I’m having too see a surgeon to get my ears fixed from stretching. Why, why, why do we do these things to ourselves. I’ve just spend $600 odd dollars (american) on American Apparell stuff (feeling slightly less naughty because I bought loverly boyfriend a cosy grey hoodie and a 3 pack of tee-shirts), I can’t blame you Gala, it’s my weakness. But thanks for the inspiration babeeee! MWAH XXXXxxxx
cute! I walked past a place the other day in melbourne that appeared to be choc-a-block full of japanese photobooths…but I can’t remember where I was due to my tendency to just wonder the streets without any real agender/direction…oooooo it would be soooo cool to do this + make it into christmas cards!
Christy – its on swanston st, between bourke and lonsdale! Its where we went to have these ones done. X
Oh fun! I agree with gilda, there needs to be a purikura booth in New York!
In other Asian Related news – I’m a part of my schools Asian Culture (/Cuisine ^^) Club and today we’re having a homestyle Teahouse with all sorts of Asian food and activities to help raise money for our teachers banquet at the end of the year. It’s gonna be so fun!
Wow!! you look soo cute together n_n.
We don’t have purikura in Mexico, the closest we can get is a machine that makes you photo look like it was hand drawn and another that puts frames on the pictures, they are really cheap like three bucks. Remember, I live in Mexico where everything is cheap for non-mexican people jejeje.
Kisses.
you guys are too cute for words!
& o, i wish we had something like that in oslo. puri kura looks like so much fun!
ah well, at least i have http://puricute.com/ !
Wow you two are too cool! I have never actually been in a photobooth before >> don’t have the spare cash. I will see if there are any when I go on holiday. :D
there’s also http://www.phozi.com/ but i think the puricute one is… cuter!
That looks like the photobooth place down on Russell St, I think there’s one down there or maybe it moved..
:)
hey gala!
i absolutely ADORE your “grease” t-shirt!!
i just finished year 12, and i played the part of Rizzo in our school production of grease. Your t-shirt looks like the cover of our scriptbooks, but instead of getting those as our production team tees, we got (disappointingly) the grease car logo (from the movie).
where did you get it? I WANT ONE!! :p
love love
jaz — I found it on Ebay! Have a look, there are usually a few going at any one time. Just make sure you buy an authentic vintage t-shirt, rather than a reproduction ;D
Yay!!! I need to go to the photobooth with my cat someday…. there used to be one in the train station [near, easy access with cat] but they took it away :( photoboots are an endangered species around here and they only got the old ones with your choice of orange or blue really old, smelly, pleated curtains or plain white as a background [did you ever experience those down south??]... I wish i could spot some with some of that purikura stuff!!!! they have some at the mall, and i could bring my cat at the mall… only NOT during Xmas shopping time :)))))
Okay, so has anyone else noticed how beautiful Audrey is?
i took some photos like that this weekend & i totally thought of you so i put bunny ears on me as a tribute to gala. img.photobucket.com/albums/v43…
erin lynne — Eeeee, so cute!
