<3 Buy a children’s umbrella — they’re the perfect size for one person & much cooler than plain old black.

<3 Add a few drops of rosewater to your orange juice in the morning (from here).

<3 Smile in photographs! I see so many people looking dour in pictures, it is so off-putting.

<3 Take a day off work next week, & do something extravagant for yourself — get a full-body massage or a huge ice-cream sundae or just lie in bed all day reading library books.

<3 Design yourself a business card.

<3 Sing to your plants.

<3 Stand close to someone who makes your heart race.

    oh, and i fully intend to take a day off of work next week (though i’m calling in sick rather than taking a real day…since i’m going on a job interview and don’t want the current bosses to be the wiser…shhhh).

    hmmmm, business cards…now that’s an idea. i need to get my logo created, and fast!

  5. It hardly ever rains where I go to school so I never get to use mine which is a boring maroon and white striped umbrella. I desperately wanted a rainbow one but couldn’t rationalize the purchase.

    I love talking to my plant. I feel a bit silly since I share him with my roommates (we named him Bruce Lionel Earl Cletus Henry.. BLECH for short) I will try singing to him though! :D
