This is a special edition “after hours” TiLT! I’m snuggled up on the couch with my loves, & wanted to fire this off before unplugging for the evening!

It is super-frozen in NYC right now, & was well below freezing when I walked Dolly (in her knitted skull sweater!) this morning. Bundling up like this is not fun. I’m daydreaming about spring in a BIG way, & am not-so-secretly thrilled to be escaping to London & Paris (!!!) in a week & a half!

Did you take time off in December? I finally convinced myself it was okay to have a holiday, & it was marvellous. Mike & I lay on the couch, the room illuminated by our Christmas tree, watching movies & laughing. He cooked me amazing meals & we napped a whole lot; we snuggled with the dogs & took it easy. It was exactly what I needed, & I am so glad I bit the bullet & actually took the time off!

But I have to say, it feels so good to get back into the swing of things, to get back on my grind & write write write. Sometimes it’s not until you take time away from something that you remember just how much you love it.
