I love Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (season two, honestly, so good, & who styled Paris in it?! They did SUCH an INCREDIBLE job, she looks FANTASTIC, if you can’t stand shows like this you should just watch it on mute for the eye-candy alone); Victoria’s Secret Soft & Sexy Wrap (I bought a black one the other day & adore it, it’s like wearing a blanket with arms in it! You need one!); setting goals which are important & meaningful to me & sticking to them; good taxi luck (when one appears as soon as you stick your arm up, every single time); doing new things which are nerve-racking but really fun; cuddling with The Dish & feeling so comfortable & happy; Sundance’s Iconoclasts (it’s brilliant, I saw the Brian Grazer/Sumner Redstone one on Sunday & LOVED IT) & Full Frontal Fashion series (I want box-sets); my super-lazy-time outfit (black slip + black cashmere v-neck sweater + black cashmere leggings + black cashmere wrap + Frye harness boots + black wool beanie + black/white eye make-up — obscenely comfortable & total uniform right now); eyelash extensions (blink blink); Coachella (I want to go SO BADLY! ...& wedding invitations (YAY!); L’Institut Sothys (best day ever); walking down Fifth Avenue (I do it so rarely that it is still exciting, invigorating & beautiful); chatting on Ustream with a group of fun people; polka-dots; crazy surreal psychedelic Japanese horror films (House I’m looking at YOU!); getgrossedout.com; drunken baristas who say, “Your blazer is KILLING ME” (I have no photos of it personally but it is this one [!!!] — I bought it on eBay months ago & clipped it to Polyvore so I could make outfits!); coconut chocolate bars; bedtime pep talks; hearing about New Orleans superstition; sparkles; phonecalls with my rad friend in Canada; working on fun new projects; Ophira from AstroStyle (we are going to start having karaoke lunchbreaks together!); candlelit baths; when your outfit is as much of a success in Alphabet City as it is at Bergdorf Goodman; DJ Shadow; “I love Hall & Oates” “LMAO, they have those suspicious moustaches” “That’s where they store their magical powers”; discovering amazing Mexican restaurants right around the corner; i-d-e-a-s; listening to NZ radio stations, & 50 degrees (10 Celsius!) yesterday! So nice to go out without needing five trillion layers, mille feuille, ha!, or as I like to call it, “dumpling wear”.
I am also really excited for summer. I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to it. Sundresses & high heels, spray tans (YES!) & midnight adventures. As my friend Asami says, “Two more months!” Two more months. I can handle it… I’m sure I can…
OH & I signed up for a (fiction!) writing workshop which starts soon! Excitement ++!

i’m about to start a 4 day weekend after working the past 12 days straight
having a fresh outlook onto the year, starting to plan more after the whirlwind that has been January!
Just one this week. Thing I am loving, so hard, this Thursday is…... my ticket to Burning Man! Uh yes. Excited, extremely.
That blazer is perfect. I was trying to envision it when you tweeted that the other day.
Annnnnd I am super pumped for summer too & wedding season is rad. I love weddings.
Water: I have been drinking insane amounts of water lately & I feel amazing. For a couple of days I was really tired which I’ve read happens when your body is working hard to get rid of toxins but it was so worth it & I’m going to work really hard to keep up this habit! I’m also eating a lot less junk food, since my tummy is always full of water! Bonus!
Milestones: My son, Mercury, is learning so much so fast! He rolls over onto his tummy now, squeals reeeeeeeally loud when he’s happy and laughs a lot more every day. He’s been reaching for & grabbing toys for awhile, but he’s recently started reaching for the cats & grabbing as many tails, paws & ears as possible! It’s soooo funny but I do get nervous about one of them getting mad & scratching or biting him.
Apartment anticipation!! We talked about moving out with my boyfriend’s family, which makes it a little more real to me. I can’t wait for us to have our own place!
I love:
Ordering lots of books from the library, blogging so much and having a great response, the blogosphere and all the awesome people who support me, peppermint foot exfoliators, new skincare, clay masks that make my skin feel DIVINE, my hard cover moleskine daily planner, planning to go to Starbucks with a friend, making money, planning an order from Aromaleigh, Getting offered an assistant teaching position at my Irish Dance Studio!!!!!!!!!! even though I’ve only been dancing 6 months!!, Getting asked to do interviews on other blogs, reading my Nanowrimo novel and discovering it isn’t actually that bad, discover the Secret and OMG it works!! and life has become so amazing! The OPI Alice in Wonderland collection, I can’t wait to buy and wear “Mad as a Hatter”, the Alice in Winderland trailer is amazing and aesthetically wonderful- cannot wait to see it, all of my thrilling 2010 goals, and reading lots of great books.
Phew, just LOOK at all that love. The Universe is being so wonderful to me, good things just happen to me.
BUYING A TICKET TO EUROPE!!!! Collaging, staying in, listening to dope music, the chemical brothers, roxy music, feathers, sewing, inspiration jolts, driving in the car and fantasizing and getting so excited that i have to pull over and write to get it out, noticing automatic outer changes from all the inner work ive done, inventing some insane hooping shit involving a stripper pole, feeling free, yerba mate, artaund, the library, burning man ticket purchase, THE FACT THAT GRACE JONES IS GONNA BE AT COACHELLA, cutting off contact with bad people, having friendships with women again. Girls just need to support one another and rock what they have!
I love:
-knowing that I have the perfect present for my boyfriend for our anniversary. – working super-hard on my blog, and being recognised! One of my favorite bloggers posted a comment on my site today. Also, this morning I was in Lush and some girl came up to me and said “it’s you, isn’t it?” Turns out she has just moved to Australia and she reads my blog to get ideas of all the awesome restaurants and haunts to check out in Melbourne. It was rad! – red velvet cupcakes – my housemate being back from her road trip. I missed her so much. – my kitten Ringo – finding a bona fide Chanel bag in an op-shop…for $4! It’s been an awesome week.
I llllooooved: a friday night with my gals, chatting and laughing all the time, somethings he said, thinking about eating some food and then being took to eat it without telling anything!, possible band reunion, setting daily goals and achieving them and having spare time also!, the fact that you haven’t deleted the old comments ;), sending important emails and receiving the answer right back, having no trouble at all studing in a different idiom than my mother-language, the weekend to come, writing this list, fog even if it’s been a week I can’t see nothing but white fog all day long outside my windows, seeing that people can really change, feeling I’m improving myself on my own, realizing that I’m almost over with university and all the things I’ll be able to do when I’l be finished, retail time and planning what to buy, writing down good ideas, list-making, tea, chocolate cookies, kissing.

Right now I’m loving the triple-layer yellow cake with chocolate frosting that I made FROM SCRATCH today like the superchamp that I am!

my jacket from anthropologie that gets compliments every time i wear it, running, dinner plans, neil gaiman, cryptic crosswords, THIS GROSSOUT SHIT, boyzzz, pastel nail polish, michael kors boots, being currently unemployed (i have so much time to do shit), excessive tulle, rodarte for target still, the fact that one of my roommates made a twitter for the entire house (all 8 of us) that features updates like “max is participating in a sleep study” and “there are 9 chairs in the living room” and “we are going on a house outing to the arcade”, finding a picture of me in 2004 that looks like the cover of lady gaga’s album, sour punch straws, nachos, 30 rock, everyone staying up really late, weird interactions in harvard square, harry potter podcasts, ginger ale, planning a trip to london, my mom and dad, having a lot of fun even though i feel sick.
Ohhh, definetly deriving up to the Puhoi Teahouse and brunching on tea & scones with my boyfriend. Devine & delicious! Also upgrading my laptop from Vista to windows 7 and tada – it actually WORKS! I am so relieved & now I can actually install Adobe suite on it (!) without risk of it frying itself. Blogging convenience.

Haven’t done this in a while!
*The fact that, aged 20, I’ve been living on my own for a couple of months, in fucking LONDON CITY mind you, and I’m doing good. Although it sometimes feels a bit strange to not be in the same country as my family, I have an amazing job, I pay my own rent and bills etc. etc., cook my own food and it feels SO good!
*The creative writing course I’m doing (2nd week tonight) which is sooo much fun. Meeting new people, great teacher and homework that I actually like!!
*The fact that there is a boy. The first boy ever, really. A boy who thinks I’m smart and beautiful and inspires me and provokes me, challenges me to think differently and worries if I’m ok when I don’t answer his calls because it’s nothing like me. People don’t really worry about me because I’m not the type of person to worry about. But gosh, it feels nice when someone willingly worries a bit :)

Getting tanned and only slightly sunburned, feeling connected to people- like they’re on the same level as you, getting into my uni course!, feeling lucky i’ll be in thailand in 11 days with a mission- get lost in and fall in love with the place,reading the autobiography of Pamela Bradley who also wrote my history textbook (she fell in love with an Egyptian man 20 years her junior and they got married!!), diving into a pool for the first time, completing 3/4 of an underwater tumbleturn, my vintage bikini top that took a year to find but only ended up being $20 and completely perrrfect, escaping the heat in an airconed library chatting to my friend who works there and looking up recipes and laughing aloud to Pamela Bradley & life, life is beautiful!

the fact that in a week I’ll be taking a plane to start my first real backpacker trip! We’re going to Bolivia, which is so mysterious, poor, colorful, dirty but wonderful…I can’t wait!! AAAAAA
besides that, I’m loving this new nail polish I just bought (is Maybelline Colorama in Atrevida, dunno if they sell it in other countries), my friends from university THEY’RE AWESOME AND CUTE, my bf telling me hilarious stories about his camping trip with “the guys”, my fat obese dog, and our maid (in Chile is pretty common to have one…go watch the movie The Maid, lol) who is such a great person :)
Successfully balancing work and school. I’m slightly overwhelmed with how crazy-busy I’ve suddenly become, but it’s going really well.
Coffee Especially free Starbucks refills, I’m totally running on caffeine right now.
My mom. The strongest person I know, I love her each and every day of the week!
The fact that I work with a lot of really great people. I am really lucky in that.
Spending time with my girlfriend. Now that we are both so busy it is really nice when we have time to spend together.
Spring anticipation. I love Winter, for sure. But I have to say the idea of not having to wear 15 layers, grilling-out and driving with the windows down sounds amazing.
I SOOOOOOOOOOOOO wanted to see House when it was playing at Fantasia fest 09, but I missed BOTH screenings – doh!! But, I did get to see the new Takashi Miike movie – Yaterman – which I HIGHLY recommend if you are into WEIRD Japanese cinema. Super heros, giant robot dog super-woofs, weird arch-nemesi – PERFECT!
Anyways – c’ette semaine, j’aime:
+ Zentai’s: Just got them today from HK. Gonna bring back LEIGH BOWERY hardcore next saturday. Just needs some tweaks; sparkly big faux zippered lips… padding in all the right places… crazy platform stripper shoes – YUM!
+ Daft Punk & Tron – AMAZING!! So stoked to see Tron in Imax 3D!
+ Playing squash this week – my arm hurts alot, but it was super fun, so totally worth it.
+ Planning a week vacation to CUBA to sit on the beach, drink, get a tan – and miss at least 1 week of ick-tastic winter weather
+ Making videos, making clothes, designing; CREATING. Last year I didn’t do enough, this year, building media empire, new accessory line, magazine, becoming a better graphic, costume, and video designer, VJing!! EXCITING!!!!!
+ Having a huge party in 1 week; awesome & huge friend posse coming from NYC!! For some of them it’s their first time at one of my parties – I’m SOOOOOOOOOOO excited for them!!
+ Feeling really good about 2010. Everything seems to be falling into place – now just to arrange Europe Tour for VJ/Performance art for the summer (I’m half way there!)

-Books. I bought Grimm’s Fairytales, T.S. Eliot’s The Wasteland, The Picture of Dorian Gray & 4 plays by Wilde, and Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland yesterday. Yay fun, non educational reading!!!
-Trying to become a more sociable and more secure person, and starting to make some progress. :D

here goes: my grandmother: the only 70 year old happy to drink with me in a goth bar, while giving the best non judgemental advice. She is amazing. losing that weight i gained whilst unemployed: I can wear all my pretty clothes again! enjoying a healthy diet: had a day of ‘crap food’ and felt exactly that, not doing that again. seeing the points of daffodils and crocuses pushing their way out of the earth, spring is so close! getting reader interaction on my blog!its just so excting! doing my tarot regularly:its been a real insight on where I need to improve. unexpected acts of kindness:i’ve been trying to suprise friends and strangers with wee acts of kindness and I’m hoping i’m spreading a little joy.
