Flowerbomb perfume; talking to my mother about fashion; Kanye West’s Graduation album; free trash on mtv.com!; being sung happy birthday by my psychic friend in Texas with a faux-Russian accent; big striped sunhats; bejewelled turbans; passionate waiters; blowing out candles; massage; having my makeup done by a professional; meeting people in the street; John Travolta as a woman; a full mailbox; fresh flowers; coffee with soy milk; lip gloss which tastes like candy floss; lantern earrings; lying in a big marshmallow bed; eating big marshmallow cupcakes!

lolita lempicka is an amazing perfume. i finally bought it after a year of craving it and i was pleasantly surprised by the packaging. it’s such an a beautiful perfume, scent and aesthetics wise.
my things i love this thursday are:
white chocolates filled with lemon praline, knowing you’re going to meet someone special very soon, english literature classes, black sleek furs, the secret handshake, super cute pet names, in jokes, and the YMCA.

I took a class once with Luc! It was great, he is so friendly and knowledgeable!
However, if you dig the club kids of Amsterdam I suggest you watch Part Monster and read Disco Blood Bath 2000. The movie is based on the book which is basically the story of the original club kids (featuring Amanda Lepore!) in nyc!
when I bought my boyfriend a perfume I got a sample of Lolita Lempicka and I loved it…when I wear it I feel grown up I don’t know why hehe??
This week I am all about the Flight of the Conchords (band/TV series). They’re from Wellington, they’re funny, they’re gorgeous and they’re musicians – tickin’ ALL my boxes, if you know what I mean. Mmm-hm.

Today I love Ooodles of new, free, beautiful make-up! (I’m a presenter and I got a massive box full of beautiful products from a sponsor yesterday)
I heart perfect hair days. Instead of sulking, hanging in limp strands from my poor head, sullenly refusing to cooperate, today my hair was polite, engaging, and helpful. Kowtowing to my every command like a helpful puppy and it looks fabulous.
Today I love being perfectly colour co-ordinated my camera man, by perfect coincidence!
Today I love having candy delivered to my desk with coffee, first thing.
Today I love the “thriller” video! Believe it or not, I had never seen it before. It makes me want an army of surprisingly-limber undead to dance around with me. (I sent you a facebook invite to a “thriller” dance thing. Even if you don’t do it, it is an amusing thing to look at.)

Today I love — blue suede boots, faux margaritas made with pink lemonade and tequila, asymmetrically buttonned sweaters, very urgent work errands that involve taxi rides, having old stories about being in The Scene in NYC, using my no-shopping willpower to avoid buying more graphic novels, My New Haircut which is so freakin cute, feeling like the embodiment of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”.

Ohh yes! They were very good and I have to admit that I ate like 10 gasp. Anyways, if you ever come to Mexico City, go upnorth until you reach a place called Satelite City, there ask anyone where Latoso’s Tacos (yes, that IS the real name of the place) is. There you will find the most delicious tacos ever and they have a lot of sauces to combine in, the place is very cheap, the service excellent and the tacos are heavenly.
