Today I am just lovin’ good friends who act as life coaches, and a new heart-based direction for my business!
It was only a matter of time because you paired yourself off with the Dish. ;) He sounds fantastic! Things that have made me happy this week include:
The Sims 2 – I’m completely re-obsessed! All of my sims chase their dreams with complete success. It’s so much fun, like grown up barbies!
My foot healing! – Two weeks ago I accidentally jumped on a wingnut on my flower press (My friend and I were playing with it earlier, and I had forgotten where we left it when I went to do jumping jacks D=) but I can finally shower normally and walk sans cane/crutches! Victory is mine! I’m ready to tear up the dance halls again.
Getting my SAT scores back! – Oh, standardized testing. Now I know what colleges I can check out, and where on my test I can improve. I have some big dreams riding on this, and so far so good.
Ali – One of my best friends just moved right down the street from me! We stayed up all night the other night watching the first season of Daria. It was so great! I’m so glad she’s close by now!
Poetry readings! – I’m finally going to one tonight after months of being away. I get very sick and weak all winter or whenever it’s really cold and rainy, so I haven’t had the strength to go to my usual thursday night spot. I can’t wait to go tonight and see everyone again!

I got dumped yesterday and am totally wallowing in my heartbreak, so I particularly need this exercise this week!
-My three best girlfriends, who are currently scattered across the globe in New Mexico, Belgium, and Vietnam. They all promptly replied to my letter of distress and are all so supportive and wonderful.
-My mom’s dog, who is furry and cuddly.

-Retail therapy I can feel good about at etsy.com, and the expectation of a package in the mail soon

-apartment hunting – occasionally frustrating, but I just love checking out other people’s spaces.

-watching French movies in bed with no subtitles and understanding about 80% of the dialog.

oooh gala! you like 5htp too? i just started taking it last week & i dunno if it’s just a placebo effect, but i feel like it’s working miracles. i was diagnosed with GAD this past year & i refuse to take anti depressants but i feel okay taking 5htp. =) maybe you could write about your experiences with it? or your thoughts on things like anti depressants vs. herbal remedies/stuff like 5htp?

1) Remembering Michael Jackson (which includes re-enacting my seventh-grade gymnastics routine to “Will You Be There” and teaching my friends and family the dance moves to “Thriller”)
2) Remembering our dog, Simba. He was a great, great dog, and was very old, so it’s better that he died before he was in even more pain and that we would have to put him down.
3) Being in a really organized, really creative headspace at work.
4) I made a TILT post about a month ago, about being hit on randomly by a boy at a hospital in Montreal. He just e-mailed me, so thanks for all your great vibes, non-pareils!
5) Celebrating Canada Day, feeling gratitude for living where I do, and leftover ice cream cake from the Canada Day festivities.

-Alexander cooking me waffles for breakfast and serving it to me in bed!
-Having sex with Alexander (which has been going on for a few weeks, but it’s been twice as much lately)
-Being relaxed and completely oblivious to all the bad things in the world.
-Losing weight without trying at all. It’s so great!

FRIDAY!!! Ohhh finally. I have been mistakenly thinking it’s Friday all week – that’s how tired I am. Only 3 more jazz classes to teach after school and then it’s the HOLIDAYS.
Pyjama day at school – I was teaching lunchtime jazz and I had to wear PJs too. I borrowed some – they are pink. With pink butterflies. I know. Everytime I saw them I got a fright – there is nothing that colour in my house!

Couldn’t do this on Thursday because I was too distraught, too much was happening and it was still fresh.
- My multicolored hair. Every time I see my hair, I feel happy.
- This lady I saw on the street with the most amazing hair: different shades of blue on the layers on top, and different shades of red and purple on the layers below. It looked so awesome.
- Three days away from the computer.
- Trying some candy I haven’t tried before, tomorrow. I don’t remember there being so much variety when I was a kid.
- July 4th: I’ll be making s’mores and grilled cheese sandwiches and going to the beach, or maybe I’ll get on a train and go wherever for the day. I’d camp out somewhere if I had a tent, but alas.
- The fact that I have no work today! Whooo!!!

Returning to Leeds, beautiful new student house,my incredibley tanned beautiful heroric sweet essex best friend boy – muchos love x, realising how much you love somebody and also that some things just arent meant to be, best friends, pretend dates with tall blonde, spare rooms in other peoples houses, uni kids, getting given his last munchie ice-cream, late night phonecalls, house warming parties, drunken antics, helpin him move out, gettin asked to move in, photos, huge attic rooms & double beds, the hottest weather ever, cute boy neighbours, bumping into best friend on the train platform, nostalgic moments, losing weight! :)

TV, wireless, my own room, solitude, a garden… I’ve decided that being 320 miles away from my boyfriend for three months is a good thing – space is always lovely, and it’ll be even better when we do see each other!<br> – My new slip ;) black silk with cream lace trim, it makes me feel French.<br> – Lusting after iceskate-like white DMs, though my size doesn’t appear to be stocked anywhere!<br> – Finally unpacking everything and restoring my room to its crazy, jam-packed, kooky boutiqueous (!) glory.<br> – Making milkshakes with fruit and milk (and nothing else!) all the time, and drinking yummy yummy smoothies.<br> – Carving out my dreams and goals for the next academic year. Bundles of university societies (shorinji kempo! horseriding! skydiving! trampolining!), STUDYING STUDYING STUDYING (for a 1st), and hopefully an ad agency placement.<br> – Waiting to get into some local volunteering jobs!<br> – I don’t want to tempt fate, but being financially secure enough to be able to spend a summer doing what I want to do.
