The title of this post comes from Mike, reacting to my new glasses. Those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that last week, I was invited to be a Lenscrafters ambassador, where I had an eye exam & was asked to select a pair of glasses.

The frames I’m wearing are actually Chanel 5203 sunglasses with the tinted lenses popped out & replaced with clear prescription ones! To say I’m delighted is an understatement… I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE! For some reason, the idea of turning sunglasses into seeing glasses never occurred to me… & now that I know the secret, I’m going to be evil & relentless!

I love glasses but I always think the frames are way too small. When they’re too little, I think they hide your eyes. It’s important to have a nice, big frame! These are pretty much the biggest frames I’ve ever seen, so, I’m really, really happy!

Plus… “The Library Strangler” totally cracks me up. I could definitely be that deranged lady doling out choke-holds to people who mistreated the books, or anyone who talked smack about the Dewey Decimal System!

These photos were taken by Chloe () around the West Village & at the Coach store on Bleecker. A bunch of us were invited to go & see the new 2011 Fall collection, as well as — dun dun dun! — have our fortunes told by a tarot card reader! SQUEE! I was there in a New York minute!

Let’s just say, the woman knew her stuff. Ba-da-BOOM!

I love the West Village. Isn’t Perry Street beautiful? No wonder Sarah Jessica Parker lives here! I wouldn’t mind it myself!

Honestly, I had to edit this one a little bit… Because you could see the bottom of my… BOTTOM! (I had no idea. Sorry, Chloe!!!) How racy!!! Who bares their bottom on Sarah Jessica Parker’s street?! Me, apparently! Now I know why dudes in cars were slowing down. Delayed cringe action…

Coach are very kind to bloggers. Everyone at this soiree was invited to pick a bag to keep! Hello, spoiled bloggers! I picked the Poppy leather pushlock satchel in silver for its simple lines & sweet, classic shape. I think it looks kinda 60s… Don’t you? I’m pretty sure it’ll fit my camera in it too, which is always a bonus!

I am also a huge fan of the fact that Chloe & I look like sisters in this photo! Look at all that platinum hair! (Did you know that everywhere we go, men hit on Chloe constantly? It’s true! It’s so funny because she hates it so much!)

I love this dress so much. I bought it on Etsy & the measurements are absolutely perfect. I couldn’t believe what good condition it was in when it arrived… It even has the belt! It’s such a fantastic frock.

Isn’t the Dia De Los Muertos pin cute? It was made for me by my friend Laura of Dollsville. It has a hairclip on the back too, so you can wear it on your noggin if you please!

Definitely obsessed with this satchel! I actually chose it because it reminded me of Dolly! It fits a surprising amount of loot, too — I can throw my digital SLR in there & do up the buckles. Pretty amazing!

Also obsessed with this lipstick, or more to the point, lipstick, lip pencil & lip gloss combo! I’m wearing Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense in #33, Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip waterproof liner pencil in 15C, & Sephora Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Miami Pink. So, so good!
