Hello! My name’s Gala Lumière Darling.

I like a lot of things, but I am bordering on being fetishistic about good black ink pens, candy-coloured hair, interesting accents, ripped stockings, old typewriters, manifesting a dream life, big city lights, vegan chocolate-&-peanut-butter milkshakes & Virgo boys.

I believe in being enthusiastic & passionate, & thinking big. I believe in turning the music up loud. I believe in celebrating every day, & getting dressed up for the occasion. I love life. I’m a candy-haired gangster with big plans.

I’ve been writing freelance since 2003. Once upon a time, I wrote a column for Cosmopolitan magazine, called Fashion Darling. (I loved it.) I have been featured in numerous magazines & newspapers, such as Pulp, GOOD, the Sydney Morning Herald, Adorn & New York magazine.
