I Did The Clean Program... And Here's What I Learned!

4 April 2013, 10:14

In March, my husband and I embarked on The Clean Program for the third time.

The first time we completed the program was the month before our wedding (June/July 2011). We did it again in February of 2012, and saw the same brilliant results: clear, glowing skin, lots of energy, reduced bloating and a feeling of vibrancy and goodness. When I came home from London and Paris in February, we decided to do it again… And this time, we really learned some important lessons.

I decided to make a video about it, which is above! I hope that it inspires you to think more about the food you’re eating, and if the concept of the Clean Program intrigues you, I would recommend that you investigate a little further!

Love and veggies,

Snow Flurries & Sparkly Ears At The Blogcademy: London!

Snow Flurries & Sparkly Ears At The Blogcademy: London!

London, you really turned it out. Kat, Shauna & I had the best time ever getting frisky with 60 fabulous graduates, or as they like to call themselves, “blogcadettes”! (Bless!)

We were so lucky to have our exceptionally talented friend Richard Wakefield of FX Films came along to our weekend class, especially since he shot & edited this little video!

It definitely profiles the mad style & incredible cuteness of all our students, that’s for sure! (Come join our cult. BYO ears!)

I’m slowly piecing together a full photo-laden recap, which will come next week… We can’t believe we’ll be doing it all over again in Portland & Los Angeles in just two months! HOORAH!

Alright: now it’s time to tackle my massive to-do list. I miss Shauna & Kat like mad, but it’s so good to be home!

With love from your headmistress,

Blogcademy London: It's All Happening!

18 January 2013, 19:15

The Blogcademy: London

London! Today is the day! Well, one of them, anyway!

Yesterday morning we hopped in a cab & made our way through snowy London to the gorgeous Curtain Road Studios. We got crazy with ladders, staple guns & streamers, setting everything up & making it look beautiful. It is such an incredible space, with enormous windows, heaps of light & — most importantly, when it’s so chilly — a huge, super-powered heater!

I took a quick little video of some of the setup… It’s just a little tease! (You better believe that when you arrive the space will be full of balloons!)

The excitement of it all!

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow… Or next week!

If you can’t make it, be sure to follow along on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook & our hashtag!

Love from London,

My Family Is Making Me Crazy: I Can't Stand The Holidays!

My Family Is Making Me Crazy: I Can't Stand The Holidays!

This may be one of the most beautiful times of the year, but it can also be the time during which we feel enormous stress!

Massive family gatherings, the pressure to buy the perfect gift, & cabin fever can combine to make you feel like you’re going seriously loopy.

Last year, I recorded this video about how to survive the holidays, & I answer the question, is sanity during the holidays really a myth?!

I thought it might be pertinent for some of you this year, too… So I’ve embedded it below! Just click to play.

Here’s to maintaining our sanity as much as possible!

Happy holidays!

The Blogcademy NYC: A Film!

18 November 2012, 08:45

I know I said it at the time, but The Blogcademy NYC was a total life highlight for me. I’m so glad we invited Ben Vogel — who you might remember from my various costume films! — along to document the event!

With that being said, here’s a short video that gives you a sneaky peek into what happened behind The Blogcademy’s top secret doors in New York City!

Remember, if you can make it to London in January, we announced a second class! Be sure to save your seat, because we’ve already sold a third of them… !

Smooch-o-rama!
