Happy weekend! It’s been a very exciting day over here: my husband, who volunteers with the aircraft restoration team on the Intrepid, was inside the Enterprise space shuttle today, fixing it & fussing around! So amazing, & very meaningful for him. He always wanted to be an astronaut! I’m really proud of him.
I had such a fab time in Los Angeles earlier this week, but it’s great to be home, too. I’ve been putting together a little travel diary to share with you — stay tuned for Monday!

Is that plethora of social media buttons all over your website really helping you? Man, this article made me think. I like it a lot. Procrastination is an alluring siren taunting you to Google the country where Balki from Perfect Strangers was from, and to arrange sticky notes on your dog in the shape of hilarious dog shorts. A wicked temptress beckoning you to watch your children, and take showers. Well, it’s time to look procrastination in the eye and tell that seafaring wench, “Sorry not today, today I write.”
I’m Comic Sans, Asshole. AHHHH!! Oh my goodness. Love this so much.
Ooooooh a new (10 minute!) Frank Ocean single! I am especially excited since I just bought tickets to his show in NYC. Yes!!!
This article — Can We Please Move Past Apple’s Silly, Faux-Real UIs? — makes some really cogent points about the way things are designed today.
Love these pictures of a wedding in India! So colourful & happy!
Laurie Penny’s essay on femininity, makeovers & beauty is BRILLIANT.
I sat down with my friend Halcyon, & we talked about beauty, gratitude & radical self love!
