The mystery of the Easter Bunny is finally revealed … It’s you!
Also, can I just chime in with some fingerless glove lovin’?
Children kept walking past & yelling “BUNNY!”
It was pretty funny :>
those ears are so cute and they contrats beautifully with the chicness of the outfit an¨d that key necklace makes my knees wobble, i have been hunting high and low for one of those! :)
my traditional easter style has always been to dress up as a witch.
Two daily outfits in a row, I’m impressed!!
Love the new shoes too, although I can’t imagine they’re very comfortable? I’m terrible in heels, I can walk respectably but the pain becomes unbearable so quickly.
Terhi — I used to wear actual antique keys all the time, you can find them in antique shops trivially. But the one I’m wearing was a gift & is engraved on both sides :> & also! Witch outfit! Ever since seeing this www.vogue.co.uk/vogue_daily/st… I’ve wanted a witch hat!
desert_rose — Actually, they are really comfortable. SO HAPPY! I was expecting them to be pretty torturous, but nay!
I walked around in bunny ears too!
Mine have lights in them somehow, so they’re all glowy and flashy :D.
yes the key necklace is div-innnnnnnnnnnnne xoxox you are lovely
waaaaahhhhhhh, you are so brave! were you walking around alone or with hunni bunni? i noticed the cam’ remote…..
i get the attack-of-the-bashful even when there is no-one around! hmmmmm….whatever happened to the showgirl in moi?! lol ( i KNOW she existed once upon a girlie-girl time)
lulubrownskin — Just me! My lover-man is in Canberra but he comes back today, yay! I actually took a huge bag of stuff with me (tripod, remote etc.) but I forgot to take the bit that screws into my camera… so I had to balance the camera on the tripod very precariously! Having someone else take the shots is much easier ;D
AWw you are one cute Easter Bunny Gala!!
It’s like Gala in Wonderland. Thanks for making the effort to make up for those of us who chose just to lie on the couch & eat eggs.
Gala! I have a question for you: How tall are you? Sometimes you look like a tiny pixie and other times you look supermodel statuesque!
cybill — Haha. Well, now that I’ve been out & done that, I’m stuffing my face & reading a book :D
Gin — Right in the middle! 5’7”.
very cute!
i love your dress, it’s adorable.
if only i was in the city today !
may i ask, where did you get those cute fingerless gloves from?
i’m thinking of buying some :D
xo
What a cutie! You lucky, lucky Melburnites with your Autumn weather and everything, I do not like +35 for the millionth week running.
i wore my bunny ears today too!!! eeep! bunny loving xxx

Happy Easter, and you look great with the bunny ears!
Oh wow! I like your necklace – I do the same thing with antique keys!! they make such cool necklaces.
Happy Easter!
Love the key necklace and the shoes are H-O-T!... The second photo is fantastic, i wish i had your talent for angles and setting up photos.
I LOVE this outfit… and I especially adore the first photo of you. I’m utterly stunned that you managed to take this without any assistance. You look utterly gorgeous. The girl in the blues :)
Love the new shoes mademoiselle bunnyhead! So when are we going to have the pleasure of seeing pics of you rockin’ your other new shoes (ze b&w ones you got the other week!), eh? ;) x
can’t believe you actually walked around town with bunny ears!
You’re the best=)!
And loved the key necklace!
Infinite x’s & o’s…
Dear Gala!!!
I jove your outfits, you are inspiring.
I’ve always used to wear baggy boy pants and sport clothes, but since I found Galadarling you’ve given me some great ideas and the will to be a little more feminine in my outfits.
I’d love to read about lingerie and underwear here at Galadarling, I just like your points of view, ant lingerie is a big addiction of mine :D
Hehe.
Have a nice day, lady
Haha, these photos totally made my day :)
About the children yelling “Bunny!”: last winter, I used to wear a woolen hat with cat ears I sewed on. Children were always transfixed. And one time, a tiny little girl mistook the cat ears for bunny ears. It was pretty funny. Maybe she thought she’d get chocolate?
I totally, agree with Romi. Your outfits are so cute. Theremina-I also have a cat hat. I bought it from a German market that comes to my city every Xmas. It is pink, cute and one of my FAVOURITE things.
Your outfit is beautiful!
My parents didn’t get me any chocolate eggs – apparently, I’m too old(?!!)
Nevermind!
Have a lovely day everyone
x
happy easter, galabunny :-)
Happy day, Gala Darling! :) My Easter has been decidedly unfashionable, but delicious and musical. My parents bought me candy & music, mmmmmm.
this is perhaps my favourite galadarling outfit to date. it is amazing and i simply love the petticoat dress. i wonder – where did you get the black tights from? they are perfect (and just what i need since warm spring days aren’t quite here yet in the northern hemisphere!)
Happy Easter! That is one stylish bunny outfit!
When I saw this, I squealed!
It’s such a charming little outfit with an adorable frouffy skirt, and sweet little bunny ears!
Plus, the weather in your pictures looks fantasmo. I can’t wait for our snow to melt…! xD
P.S. Doth I spot a Gala-Bunny wearing “Do You Lilac” on her paws? ;3
yaaay bunny!, well here its like 9 in the morning but ive already eaten almost six chocolate bunnys!! yay i plan on making bunny ears for all the family to wear and play fun games with my little cousins! this is going to be a fun fun day , o and you look gorgeous in that outfit Gala!
oh sweetie, thats adorable! i can’t find my bunny ears, but i am also stuffing my face full of delicious chocolate. happy easter!!
you beautiful creature :)
do you know, sometimes i’m sitting here thinking about stuff and i randomly type it into the search box on your site…and VOILA...you’ve written articles about it!
today i was thinking about writing letters – you’ve written article about them!
i was thinking about how messy and unorganised my wardrobe is – you’ve written an article about it!
i was thinking about how unmotivated i am – you’ve written an article about it!
seriously, i think we’ve got some kind of telepathic link!
xx
Gala, I am wearing a really similar outfit to this. Except with horizontal striped thigh-high socks and no bunny ears.
You’re not dressed as a bunny o.O youre just wearing bunny ears.
I like the dress though.
Gala, I adore your ability to put together outfits! Happy Easter!
I love these photos especially!
Those shoes are brilliant.. and they are comfortable? That never happens, so good job on finding hot comfy shoes :-D
I really like the last photo especially—it seems like you are just happy and chilling out, having a good day!
Eeee cute! I love the skirt!!
Wow, love it! I really like your belt!
On a completely different note, I found this picture I took ages ago of some cupcakes I made (also ages ago) and thought I’d link it here – cupcakes remind me of Icing!
www.flickr.com/photos/evil_gin…
this outfit makes me happy…it seems a lot more like your older “fun&crazy” outfits then the newer “chic&stylish” stuff you’ve been wearing lately (not that there is anything wrong with one compared to the other!! i just personally like this outfit best out of the more recent ones! :)
p.s. how does that hat stay on?! i’m entranced…
haha, as I was reading this, a cyndi lauper video came on vh1!
You look great.. The bunny ears are so cute!! I’m loving the new boots as well!
This is my first time commenting I found your site a few weeks ago, and I am totally addicted!
whoa you look amazing! the outfit is cute but your skin & hair look fabulous! great necklace too :]
hoppy easter. =]
How old are you?
Dominique — I bought them from Glassons a few years ago. They don’t get a lot of wear, they’re so white that they really kick against many of my outfits!
ajtsan — The stockings are from Sportsgirl… they are probably on their site but I don’t know if they ship internationally. You can but try! sportsgirl.com.au
Retro.Bunny — Man, you’re good! YES, it is ‘Do You Lilac It?’! It’s the first time I’ve actually worn it & I’m so thrilled with it, I did my toes too & I feel like a walking easter egg!
emily — It’s elasticated & I’ve kind of hooked it around my ears (my actual ears, not the purple ones!).
Jenny — Hi cutie! Welcome!
Heiða — 24 :>
That is so cute! I love the key necklace and the combination of white with the ears and skirt.
This is my first time commenting, but I have been reading for a while, and you are totally inspiring me to care more about what I wear! You always look so cute!
PS I am going to Australia/ New Zealand this summer (winter for you Southern Hemisphere-ers) and I was wondering what the weather is like, and what you think I should pack? Does it get really cold?!?
I love it, I love it.
The only thing that could have been better would be if you’d taken a basket of chocolate eggs with you and then handed them out randomly to people. The children would have gone insane.
katie ~ where are you from? i’m in auckland, nz, & while i complain incessantly about the cold aaaaalll through winter (i’m a thin-skinned little munchkin!) it definitely doesn’t get as cold here as it does in the uk & europe. it does snow down the bottom of the south island, but here in auckland the average low you’ll experience during the winter days is around 7-8 degrees (celsius), & our only recorded snowfall was about 70 years ago :] i get around in winter in at least 5 layers, but you’re probably more used to the cold/not as much of a wuss as i am(!).
this is annaloren the weathergirl signing out. :D!
not in australia… not in perth anyway. depends on where you come from though as if you come from a much colder place you’ll think it’s quite warm here. no need for fur coats or anything.
hope you have fun here!
want those shoes Gala, even though i’ve pretty much banned myself from buying black shoes as i have an urge to colour up winter and shoes are especially nice for making a statement with. will just have to search for the perfect coloured ankle boot
If only I’d been able to find bunny ears as fab as yours, I totally would’ve worn them…
Instead, I wore my shirt embroidered with a bunny that I got a thousand years ago when I still shopped at Urban Outfitters. Then my friend and I filled plastic eggs with jellybeans, strawberry malted milk balls and egg-shaped sour gum and hid them in the backyard. Our man friends took a break from watching basketball and came and hunted for them with us and the winner got an Easter basket full of treats. My favorite was the Hot Wheels-brand chocolate bunny “with surprise candy cars inside!” So funny. I adore kitschy holidays!
[Did you find any raw-food Easter goodies? I wish I had, as I now feel very blecchh from all the chocolate!]
The new boots are great. A lot of people here wear keys around their necks but they’re not real antique keys. They’re new ones made to look old. I always wonder why people do that, since antique keys are not hard to find and look so many times better than the cheap new kind. It takes minimal effort to find something that looks so much better! That door behind you is gorgeous, too. The last picture is so cute.
We are the same height!
Come to Japan anytime!
Love the bunny ears! And I love that you went out in the m XD lol I wouldn’t have the courage. I saw it at first and didn’t know what to think…but then I remembered it’s Easter :P
LOVE the heels. They look great! I’m so jealous. lol.
I’ve got the same polish and I adore the colour, so I’ve probably programmed myself to pick it out in a crowd!
On a quick side-note, I got my brother to pick me up a bottle of China Glaze’s “For Audrey” polish, and it’s an adorable Tiffany’s creme blue. I’m so excited, I think I’ll even wear it to school (even if it is verboten!). cgi.ebay.com/China
Gala! You are so adorable. :)
you look so natural in bunny ears!
:)
Hey Gala! This is my first time writing a comment, I have been visiting your blog for a long time. The photos are really inspiring, as always. I especially love the skirt, also the shoes look like chocolate to me :)
annaloren and Nina- I’m from New Jersey, and live about 20 miles outside of NYC. The fact that it won’t be that cold is great, because it seems that I will be flying from 85 degrees (F)(I just checked and that’s about 30 degreees C) and humid to about 55 degrees F or about 13 degrees C! Thanks for all of your help! I’m totally looking forward to visiting!!!
Petticoat! Gloves! Key! Yaaay!
I’m in awe that you managed to combine ears AND a hat!
one thing I have really noticed is how much the blue in your hair really makes your eyes stand out. I used to have dark brown hair and it made my blue eyes really “pop” (for want of a better word!). Now it’s finally back to it’s healthy natural blondeness, but you’re making me want to grab the hair dye and start playing again. You look so pretty! Keep it up :)
DAMN Gala you’re FIERCE. You look sooo beautiful.
that door behind you is ohygoshwow so wonderful and grand (pardon my obbsession with furniture), where is that??
helloooo, sorry to come blabbing again, (and at the wrong place) but where can i find the link to send you mail, you know, the stuff that gets turned into advice and articles, all that other good stuff that i come here everyday to read.
Please delete this embarrasing post after. lol
Jessica Jasmine — That door is in a big park in the centre of the city. I don’t even know what park it is, haha! & see here for my email address… galadarling.com/static/about
Amazing outfit! Love the bunny ears!
The new shoes look great :)
you DO realize that you are like a reali-live version of carrie bradshaw, right?
when i watch sex and the city, it makes me think of you.
except that you’re way cooler cuz you have awesome hair.
haha!
kiss_and_tell — BLUSH! Except my love life’s not so dramatic. Haha! xxx
