  21. I’m quite partial to Sigur Ros and The Faint. The Faint is PERFECT for wild uninhibited delight (they make me want to sex everything – especially the song “Dropkick the Punks”), and Sigur Ros is just so sweet and romantic and lovely beautiful. Listening to them makes me feel like everything is screaming beautifully towards us all at once!

    Of course, these were the first two concerts my boyfriend and I saw together, so that may have something to do with it too. Sigur Ros was the best – it was an outdoor concert at night and it was absolutely freezing. By the end of the evening, we were really quite snuggly! Awww…

    This is such a fun song to just dance to anyways. With the lovely beat, and the way the music changes between ‘normal’ parts and the chorus, there’s lots of room for creativity, if you’re going to pace along to it. It’s techno/dance music so it’s easy to drift away into a little fantasy of meeting a dark and sexy stranger who whisks you away to a dark corner of the club and shows you how to make harder, better, faster, stronger ;)

    The song also places the lyrics over what would be the sounds of a guitar solo, and as that’s playing, it’s definitely fun to ‘strum along’ if you catch my drift.

    Speaking of hand talents, this person has also made a video where they wrote the lyrics on their hands and fingers and hand-danced along to the song. It’s hard to describe but it’s really neat! The song starts off slow, but gets really really awesome around the 2:00 mark!
