Melting Rooftops And Balloon Bouquets

The Blogcademy x Patina

We were just about ready to drop when Chellise said, “Come up to the roof with me.” Several flights later, we flung open the door and were greeted with a vast silver landscape, surrounded by the Manhattan skyline, Brooklyn’s iconic water towers, and thousands of miles of blue sky.

The rooftop was painted silvery-white — like many other rooftops in NY — but in the extreme heat, was melting and sticky. My heels stuck to it as I walked across.

The Blogcademy x Patina“Stand there,” Chellise said, “And let the balloons go.”

The Blogcademy x PatinaI’m wearing ASOS cat ears, a dress from Shareen Collection, and Alice + Olivia heels.

We sure love rooftops!

Much love,

This was a team effort and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out! Thank you so much to our photographer, Chellise Michael, our videographer Courtney Arcese, our flower and decor geniuses Erica and Adette at Tinsel & Twine, our makeup artist Regan Rabanal, our hairdresser Kristin Jackson, our assistants Jen and Kathryn, and of course, to Patina for making this all happen! MWAH!
