Let me just be honest: there are few things I enjoy more than seeing a dog in a costume. It’s like mainlining absolute, unfettered joy to the heart! So on Saturday, Mike & I took our two dogs, Hank & Dolly, over to the park.

Tompkins Square Park was absolutely teeming with people who had showed up for the Halloween Dog Parade. It has happened every year for 20 years, & it’s brilliant! I’d never been before & it made me SO HAPPY! If you’re ever in NYC around the end of October, this is a must-see.
