Hello my darlings! I know it has been quiet around here, I have been setting up my new life as well as dealing with a wicked case of jetlag! Things will be back to normal as soon as possible — thank you for your patience & for bearing with me! Now, without further ado, here are some of the things I’m loving this Thursday…
Having Antipodeans to talk to when I’m awake at 4am on the other side of the world 
dreaming about really blue water & flowers made from snow Hank Williams snoring in my lap while I work dressing Hank up as Pocahontas harnessing the power of the Moon & Venus in Virgo & obsessively cleaning/organising/setting up my new office & wardrobe room the fact that One Lucky Duck now does home delivery drinking green tea that The Dish made me (tea & coffee always tastes better when it is made for you by someone who loves you, fact) finding a voucher for Forever 21 amongst all my things & going on a much-needed shopping trip madly trolling Ebay for winter must-haves telepathic dream sharing S Factor by Tigi Body Booster Plumping Spray (it smells like strawberry bubble gum & gives rad volume) Cuban food with Stef aka POS (see also, he was nominated for an mtvU performing award & you should vote for him because he really does deserve it) using Hank as an impromptu hot water bottle delicious breakfast & laughter with Philip my new hooded faux fur coat cozy couchness furniture shopping sweet unnecessary compliments (even better: totally weird ones that people don’t expect you to hear) vintage Playboy centrefolds as my desktop wallpaper my new indigo desk all the bunny ears for sale at Ricky’s watching Greek in the bathtub while surrounded by pink glittery bubbles (Lush I love you!) jingly bracelets Silversun Pickups this purple, life-size, glitter-covered skull that I bought cuddling with my two favourite boys when people say “Welcome home” napping plotting new stuff to put on bulletin boards Jane from Sea of Shoes (she is a sweetheart) being reunited with all my clothes ...& even though I am exhausted, the thing I am most pleased about is being home — in my new, real, actual home — with my little family unit. Love love love.

-my bf AGAIN, cause I’m full of love for him. and for everyone, because of him. he’s the best
-my sister, her husband, and their son; they arrived in a quick, unexpected trip (they live in London, we live in Santiago,Chile) because of the death of my brother-in-law’s dad. the circumstance is very, very sad, but at least they made it for the funeral, AND, I get to see her! She’s my idol. And my nephew is the most adorable kid EVER, no kidding! He’s 2, and speaks with the cutest british accent spanglish, lol.
-putting lipstick in the subway; a sexyness in a very un-sexy place
-the moment when you finnally understand something difficult! Humming “ooooh, yeaaah!” and nodding in the library is funny
-my country is on the Soccer World Cup! Chile has always been a crappy soccer team, but now they are great and got in the tournament with ease. I don’t like soccer that much, but I can’t help to be proud of “our” team, haha. Plus everyone in the country is happy now! Optimism is the best thing :)
Going to PENN STATE this weekend for the homecoming game, my puppy Muldoon who is learning things pretty quickly & is a constant reminder that I need to be patient, my wonderful boyfriend who loves me more than I ever imagined I could be loved

Re: telepathic dream sharing
Last night, both me and my boyfriend dreamt that we had been robbed. FREAKY.
I teared up a little when I read that quote. Death is something I fear a great deal, to the point that I have regular panic attacks about it, and that was a very touching quote.

♥ rereading harry potter books! ♥ making plans to go to infinitus next year (i don’t care how expensive it will be, again, i simply HAVE to go. even though i’m not nearly as obsessed with harry potter as i used to be. prophecy 2007 was so amazing! & so was every single person there!) ♥ embracing my nerdiness in general ♥ sharing classes with amazing people ♥ spending time OUTSIDE of school with said amazing people ♥ learning new things ♥ not being behind in math! (if you knew the ridiculous amount of work we have to do a week, you’d get it) ♥ speaking of math, that “click” when you get it & everything suddenly makes sense (that same “click” is the reason why math has always been my favourite subject) ♥ & still speaking of math, my little brother comparing a book to learn to work with our new super complicated calculators to the spellbooks in the harry potter games (in order of the phoenix at least), where you read it once & gold sparks appear above your head, accompanied by special music & you can always do it right after that xD ♥
+ free dinners + fried cheesecake + big, fluffy comforters + leaves turning colors + foot rubs + taking silly photo booth pictures + sons of anarchy + reading a book with the boyfriend + putting off grocery shopping for as long as possible = getting creative in the kitchen + baking chocolate chip muffins + making halloween decorations + my puppy being sooo excited when i get home + my new studded bracelet & blue plaid scarf + buying lipstick +
- Cinnamon frosting lip balm – letting the bartender decide what I’m drinking & ending up with the most delicious cocktails! – The Rosebuds – My fiancé (and especially how he takes care of me when I’m hungover!) – watching lots of tv shows & vegging out – brilliantly coloured moths – a sense of belonging – electric blue manicure! – planning trips to the dead sea – random encounters with people I met a world away – Glee – granola for breakfast – puzzles – new shoes (that have pictures of frankenstein & dracula on them!) – new friends!!!! – photo-documenting EVERYTHING.

things i love thursdays here now is because im still alive, and kickin, and was reading a book by Plum Sykes Debutante Divorcee, lying in bed and typing on my laptop, have so many pillows in my bed, giving gratitudes to the universe saying thanks a lot for givin me strength to live, and still full of ideas, making embroidered velvet horsey fabric soon, knowing that i wanna do textile design in brighton uni uk, and no longer addicted to become famous just because i wanted to go to central st martin,s where alexander mcqueen graduated, re-reading my old posts that made me feel alive and true, even tho hardly anybody comment on em, lol. Appreciating this thing called world wide web, that has the power to link all of us together. having gala to keep inspiring my day and everyone’s and last but not least, *happy blissful and enjoying my candy cane of abundance. *

- Discovering a pile of old magazine clippings from a couple of years ago and reading them and getting inspired

- Back to work. Oh how I love my job.
- Seeing Swan Lake down in the Tron. I had never seen it before. It’s really good! (Unlike the Nutcracker which fails to spin my wheels.) I was in the front row and I could see everything. The cygnet in silver nailpolish (unprofessional!). The grubby mitt-marks the Prince left on Odette’s white tutu after all those lifts. Odile’s earring flying off. And when the extras were sitting around doing fake party-chat, they were actually talking, because I could hear them. But it was all in Russian so I don’t know what they said.
- Currently thrashing White Linen as my daily spritz. It’s so civilsed and sensible, yet very beautiful.
- Wearing bare feet ‘cause summer is slowly coming.
- Things falling into place. Wanting to give something up, and having someone appear willing to take it over. It’s almost spooky. (But not quite.)
- My new Helensville class. Awesome venue with great acoustics, and the drive out there is just beautiful. Very green with lots of trees and rolling paddocks.
- Plus I was on Code again for about 3 seconds in their best-of-09 montage, even though you couldn’t see my face. Just my arse. Shake it baby!
this week has gone soooooo quick!!!
- i might be moving to australia, and my feelings towards it are all positive (except fear or being broke lol)
- friday drinks which have become somewhat of a ritual becos my friend has a sweet pad and Friday & Saturdays off work.
- getting through my work really quick!!
- im excited for my adventure this weekend of trying to find extra work before i move..
- also excited for my appointment with a clairvoyant soon…

I’m soo happy relishing in the excitement of blossoming friendships, “They’re with me”=no waiting in line, my recent bought of awesomeness and rather seemingly magical luck (thank Jupiter!) and the fact that all classes got canceled tomorrow because it’s homecoming this weekend!

I was having a horrible week :(
I’m beginning to doubt if i still want to be a physicist, I have a calculus midterm tommorrw, I have a horrible migraine, my schizophrenic biological mother is stalking me, and my loving foster parents are being forced to work and can’t attend a scholarship ceremony with me that I have to attend by myself and give a vote of thanks emphasizing the importance of family and community. Ironic, I will be there alone.
But about an hour of random old and new articles on your site, and I feel happy!
My mashed potatoes with chopped garlic, today’s raininess, memories of the soup my great-grandma used to make, neighborhood health store, meeting someone else who likes Afropunk.com, Garbage’s covers, my colorful hair, amazing musical sounds inside my head so often, plans for the future.

I was at a conference last weekend on emigrating abroad! Now i have plans on either emigrating to Canada, Australia or New Zealand!!! But I can’t decide which one! Can anyone give me any advice or bias on why their country is best?! Haha!
My boyfriend and I appear to have all the points we need, so all I have to do is get the ball rolling! I am so excited!!!!!!

This week’s TiLT made me really happy, lovely post.
I have one thing I love to declare this week- Autumn! I kicked my way through piles of leaves this morning and keep stopping to stare at beautiful coloured leaves on the way home. My city looks beautiful, as always, but especially good decked in yellow and orange.
-Fall …usually I am head over heels in Love with this season. The maple leaves littering the street, the hot tea, and soup and bright colours ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS.
-Passionate opinionated people. When people are passionate about things they are so much more interesting.
-Matching green with red. I love matching these 2 colours together because they create such a vivid visual experience.
-Taking the train from Montreal to Ottawa. I love riding the train. Its low stess there is lots of leg room. Its faster than driving. And you get to see the beautiful countryside.
-October roses. Ive been cutting the last roses off our rose bush. The roses are usually white but as it gets colder they get pink edges. Ive been places them in vintage glass jars all over my room.

Free lunchtime concerts at The Royal Northern College of Music – yesterday was Mendelssohn’s overture from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and was absolutely magical!
