I want:
-A clear career path.
-a really nice pair of heels that show off my legs and a dress fitting my waist
-boobs (Je flatter than a 12yr old boy)
-and a larger water heater so my showers dont run cold after 1/2 way.
Not as exciting. I seem to be in a funk.

Hairy McClairy eeeeeee! My wishlist for this year, well, I need a new campus wardrobe! All my old jackets are giving up the ghost! Going at the seams! I think I need a new style concept – silk neckscarves and four buttons is the idea for now.
The only thing I’m coveting at the moment is the black Epi leather Passy by Louis Vuitton.
I was going to hold off on it until I get settled in my new city (ie, have an income) but I don’t think I can resist the call of duty free when I come to Melbourne in 6 weeks!
This anatomical heart model is the only thing I want for the moment.

I’m going on a Manhattan adventure on Friday! My first real fashion show, eep! I’m currently plotting what to wear…
I want a Helio, too! They’re so amazingly cool. :)
I also want… * my high school diploma (5 more months!) * motivation (and lots of it) * a job (I don’t feel productive at all) * more time with my closest friends (I haven’t seen them in a month, and we live 30 minutes away from each other)
I want an iPhone!!!
Other things include but are not limited to:
+ Steve Madden heels (to practice walking in heels before I ask for some Manolos or Louboutins)
+ a personal assistant
+ driving lessons

carol — Mmmm, I know. I think they’re all out of stock now, might have to resort to Ebay. They are so perfect for winter! & the collages, well. I make some of them using Polyvore (polyvore.com), but the one above started there & then I edited it & added extra stuff in Photoshop. Good luck with your presentation!

All I really want right now is… magical powers in which I could conjure up any clothing item I wanted. But there would be limitations, of course, like I’d only be allowed to have the item for 24 hours. That’d be fun.
& Totally off topic, but did you hear about all the fuss that’s being made over Polyvore taking Etsy users’ pictures without their permission? Haha, it was interesting to follow.

- Some tortise shell rimmed glasses. – Boots. Not sure which type, but I need some. – A good black coat. I saw one at Country Road but it’s $400. Eeep. Though it would probably be worth it.

Bec — Hmm, interesting! I think that by the time I hire someone I am going to want them to run my life, so a virtual assistant probably wouldn’t do it for me. I think you would need to do a lot of work to get your first few clients, but once it got off the ground you would be okay!

The other week, I ended up in a little shop just off Edinburgh’s Grassmarket where they refashion vintage clothing. I think I want just about everything in that shop! In particular though, I really want this tres cute babydoll dress made from the finest lawn cotton. Oh, I’m also coveting a completed thesis! Maybe focus on the thesis first and then the dress. In fact, maybe the dress could be the reward… Better get a move on, or it will have gone by the time I have my first draft!

I would love:
- A new bed-frame that is wide enough at the head-end to be a shelf. If that makes any sense at all!
- A Polaroid camera. I’ve wanted one for years.
- Enough money to buy black boots that last more than a season. My last two pairs from the last two winters gone by have both broken. The first pair split up the seems…and my other pair [which I LOVED] had the heel snapped off them. and I wasn’t even drunk yet. Shameful!
- The ability to walk in stilettos. I’m not wishing to own a nice pair of stilettos, I need to be able to MOVE in them first! [Any tips? I’m hopelessly wobbly.]
Claire: there’s a book called “How to walk in high heels”. I seem to remember it advocated breaking your shoes in and getting lots of practice while swanning round the supermarket clutching a trolley for balance.

We’d also like either a King Shepherd or a Great Pyr but not sure how ready we are for a puppy right now.
We have a dachshund which we adopted from the Humane Society (he was about a year old). He’s been the best dog ever but you have to be very careful with their backs. Our ruptured a disc in his spine and could have been paralyzed. If you do get one, make sure to get ramps/doggie steps for things like your sofa and bed if he’ll be allowed on there. They like to jump from high places and should not!
Oh, and minimize stair walking for him/her. They’re a big no-no. Very bad for their back.

Those sunglasses are great. I had a similar pair that I bought at a second hand store in October 06. One of the legs broke, and I’ve been searching for a replacement for three months. I wish I could afford Tom Ford.

A good sewing class! I have a tendency to teach myself everything I can on my own, from the internet mostly, but I’m intimidated by anything more than mending and making weird little monsters and such.
A pet. I’m having that kind’ve thing that if I was the babymaking type would be baby fever, but since I’m firmly anti childbearing, my biological clock is ticking to kitten. I will, of course, not do such a thing until I’m financially stable enough to take care of another being. But I suffer and squeak at the sight of puppies on the street.

Oh my, the only thing I want (hah, it’s anything but “only”) is a little house of my own to live in. The house of my dreams went up for sale recently, and I put in an offer (!!!). While I wait for a response I have been able to think of nothing but “It’s so sweet! And the views will make me die, in a good way, every morning when I wake up! And I could have my own office space and so could my boyfriend (instead of neither, like now)! And the windows actually work! And it has heat, unlike my current apt.!”
All fingers and toes crossed…

What I want more than anything else in the world right now is a comfortable, versital, fashional bag that I can use to hold everything! Right now I have three bags with me at all times – my purse, my knitting bag, and my school bag! In my purse I have my makeup, girly things, free reading books, TI-83, and dear lords, a ton of pens. Then in my knitting bag I have my current project and a cute red vinal bag to hold all my odds and ends. And in my school bag (with is a messenger bag that hurts my sholders and swings like crazy when I walk) I have all the books and notebooks that I need for my classes. As I’m taking three university-level courses with university-sized binders and texts. And that’s not even counting room for a jumper, coffee mug, and lunch box. Gah!

your wish for a manhattan adventure reminded me that eek! I’m on the brink of applying to New York University to study photography, and just the prospect terrifies me! I’ve lived in a tiny town since I was little, and as you can imagine, the prospect of New York is scary as hell. I can’t decide whether I’m ready to take the leap!
A trip to Paris and a Knitted Red Bobble hat! And skinny legs aha!
