Things I Love Thursday: It’s Chocolate Milkshake Day!
First things first: today is Chocolate Milkshake Day, and of course I would be remiss if I failed to mention this extremely important day of honour. I don’t know about you, but I plan on celebrating with a scrumptious vegan version. Sounds about perfect!
Phew. It feels weird to be back in my office, working. I could have happily remained in Greece, splashing around in the pool and being a lady of leisure for much longer!
No matter where you live, it’s so great to leave your street, your neighbourhood, your city, your state, or your country. Get out of your usual groove and see what else is out there.
So many of our blogcadettes told me that our trip to the Greek Islands looked amazing, and I always replied that it was, and mostly because it was just so different to everything we’d ever experienced.
In London, after four days of teaching class back-to-back — a pretty massive triumph for us — I looked across the dinner table at Shauna and Kat, and was filled with an overwhelming sense of love, appreciation and adoration. I am crazy about them, and I am so thankful to have them in my life in this way. I don’t say this to brag or boast, but simply to show you — in case you doubt it — that this kind of friendship exists, is real, and is possible. Begin to expect the best for yourself and you will inevitably get it!
J’adore… Getting to sleep in a little bit on Monday morning! Dancing around with bunny masks (a gift from adorable blogcadette Fifi Scarlett) Crazed late-night shopping missions which result in white sequin motorcycle jackets and discoball tank tops Discovering Itsu in Shoreditch (so amazing!) Your gratitude prompt: A few people have sung, “You don’t know what you’ve got ’til it’s gone.” What’s something you have greater appreciation for today than you did this time last year?
I love you,
