Things I Love Thursday: Sequins & Silliness!

It may have been quiet around here this week, but my real, offline, meatspace life has not! As you probably gathered from our excited Instagrams, tweets & Facebook updates, Kat is in the city & we’ve been causing trouble ALL over town!

See? There has been beaucoup du silliness!

We’ve been preparing for The Blogcademy too, of course! From stuffing treasures into goodie bags to visiting Party City, Kat, Lisa & I have been go-go-go ever since they arrived. We absolutely can’t WAIT for the weekend — & to see Nubby when she gets in on Friday morning! I can’t wait to give you a full update next week.

By the way, there is one last-minute Blogcademy spot available, so if you want to come along & make magic with us, DON’T DELAY!

One of the best things about being away from the computer all week — other than getting to hang out constantly with one of my BFFs — is that I have been totally reminded of how VERY IMPORTANT it is to take some time out. While I may have felt a little guilty for shirking off most of my responsibilities this week, it has paid dividends. I have been inundated with ideas, fresh concepts & realisations.

You can’t live your whole life online, after all. What would you have to talk about?

One of my other recent highlights was being on the cover of Her magazine, a New Zealand publication which is focussed on women in business. I must say an immense thank you to Farida Master for putting together such an incredibly flattering profile: you are a superbabe!

There won’t be a Carousel this week, because Kat, Nubby & I will be racing all over the city, collecting sparkly things & doing last minute preparation for our fabulous blogger class. (Can you tell I’m excited?!) But sit tight, because next week I’m going to write all about it!

Thanks for sticking by me while I learn to juggle & manage all these new projects! Ooh la la!
