When I lived in New Zealand, MAGNUM Mini Ice Cream Bars were one of my favourite things. They’re a little bit of luxury. So of course, I was very excited to take part in their collaboration with alice + olivia!

It’s no secret that I’ve been following Stacey Bendet’s Twitter & Instagram feeds like a hawk. (Or an obsessive stalker. Your pick!) She posts the best personal style photos — mega-inspiring. It was so much fun to meet her in person. She’s hilarious! She told us that she’s designing an original mini-skirt inspired by the new MAGNUM Mini Ice Cream Bars, which will be revealed during Fashion Week in September! I can’t wait to see what she comes up with. Something decadent I’m sure!

The shoot was pretty incredible, too. We were fussed over at the legendary Carlyle Hotel, dressed by alice + olivia, & given all the ice-creams we could scoff! (The almond ones are my favourite. We were all running on major sugar-rushes that night!)

My favourite moment from the whole day was definitely getting all dressed up. You know that moment when you slip a dress over your head & it just fits perfectly? It’s like the sartorial holy grail. I totally had one of those moments! My dress — a mirrored silver neo-flapper DREAM — was sublime insanity. (I can’t wait to wear it when I go & see The Great Gatsby!)
