Today’s Pink Christmas giveaway is brought to you by T.J. Maxx, who generously gave me a stack of gift cards so I could buy Christmas presents for my nearest & dearest! I headed up to T.J. Maxx on 6th Avenue (between 18th & 19th St), not really sure of what I would find. I made a beeline for their designer section, & was really excited by the selection. There were jackets by Helmut Lang, blazers from Elizabeth and James, dresses by Yves St Laurent & shoes by Betsey Johnson. I saw Christian Dior & Alice + Olivia hanging alongside Missoni & Michael Kors. It was fantastic! I was quite flabbergasted by the massive discounts (up to 60% off retail!) & the super-high quality of both the items & the brands featured. So impressed!

In the spirit of going shopping for YOU, I was dedicated to getting something that anyone could use. I didn’t want size, colouring or hemisphere to come into it! So, what can everyone use? HANDBAGS! Oui! So here’s what I picked up…

The Kate Spade large lucia in citronella — on the left — was originally $325 slashed to $149, & the Michael Kors silver grab bag — on the right — was $228, but on sale at T.J. Maxx for $119!

They’re such fab bags, I’d like to keep them for myself, but I know you’ll do ’em justice! I envision a girl with a plan to dominate 2012 rocking the Kate Spade bag: full of vitamins, books & a Filofax full of schemes! The Michael Kors bag might belong to a girl who lives to arrive “fashionably late” & makes an incredible martini!

Of course, while I was at T.J. Maxx, I couldn’t resist picking up a few pairs of Anna Sui stockings for myself! (I can never own enough pairs. Plus, I have this terrible penchant for wearing them with motorcycle boots, which makes them pill around the ankle! When will I learn?!)
