Shoes, shoes, shoes. Maybe I own too many pairs, a fact that was driven home to me when Mike and I moved apartments recently. Bin after bin after bin of shoes, in every glorious colour under the sun, and so many pairs of high heels!

Weirdly, though, I’ve recently become enamoured with flat shoes. I used to hike miles in my motorcycle boots, but these days, I just can’t do it. Give me sneakers or give me death! Of course, the goal is to find cute and comfortable sneakers in order to avoid looking like a walking episode of Seinfeld, so when I clapped my eyes on these leopard-print kicks by Steve Madden, I knew I was onto a winner.

I love the combination of hot pink and black with leopard print, and especially pairing a flirty skirt with casual slip-ons. This outfit just goes to show that you can be uber-femme and still climb a tree! Couple this look with fun novelty earrings and rad sunglasses and you’ve got yourself a Look with a capital L.
