Want New Experiences? Find New Teachers, Go Deep, And Get Ready For Transformation

It’s fascinating the way that life unfolds if we follow stage directions from the universe. This means we need to pay attention to those divine winks, listen to our intuition, and pursue the curious little things that come up. Letting that momentum guide us is essential if we want to live the best life possible.

Lately I’ve been realising how important it is that we have MIND, BODY and SPIRITUAL practices: the holy trinity. It is not enough to be in your mind and try to think your way through everything. It is not enough to be in your body and use your physical energy to solve problems. It is not enough to meditate your way through life. We have to bring all three of them together. I know that for many of you reading, this might be a big “duh”… But I think this is the first time in my life I have TRULY understood it.

So, here’s how I am applying myself to these three areas!

MIND

Next week, Garnett and I are going to Tony Robbins: Unleash The Power Within! (We are so excited!) It starts with walking across hot coals (!!!) and then gets more insane from there. OMG, I can’t wait.

I’ve been obsessed with Tony Robbins since I first saw his infomercials in the 1990s, and when I used to work in a bookshop, I’d “borrow” copies of his books and hide behind stacks to try and devour as much as I could. His work has become even more interesting to me over the years — check out this video of him and his wife answering relationship questions if you want to see a different side of him! Additionally, if you haven’t seen his Netflix documentary, I Am Not Your Guru, I highly recommend it.

I know that this event is going to require me to go to uncomfortable emotional places, get a lot of clarity around what I want, and set my life up so that I can pursue those things. I am fucking READY. Let’s GO!

(I am totally obsessed with these shoes.)

BODY

This week, after much deliberation, I signed up for Mama Gena’s Mastery, which starts next weekend! I am so excited and I am also terrified. For those of you who don’t know about Mama Gena, go over to Amazon right now and order her book Pussy!

Mastery is an intensive live program which teaches you to turn your light on (or up!), live in your body, leverage your feminine qualities, and fully transform. Of course, I am a life-long student of learning how to TURN IT UP, but this is the perfect time for me to dive into it. I am more in my body now than I ever have been before, and I’m psyched to learn more about it.

I’d thought about doing Mastery for years, but this week, I mentioned it to two friends — one of whom I didn’t even know had done it! — who said it would unequivocally change my life. In fact, one of them said, “I’ll actually be a little bit mad if you don’t do it.” Haha!

Mastery is perfectly in line with what I want to become more adept in, which is embodiment, sensuality, and femininity. So I signed up, and I totally don’t know what I’m in for. Eeeeeee! Watch this space!

SPIRIT

Yesterday I had an absolutely amazing session with Amber-Lee, aka Chakra Girl. We set intentions, visualised, breathed, repeated affirmations, and cleared up my chakras like bosses.

Sometimes when you do energy work, you’re not sure of its efficacy… But this morning I woke up with an entirely new mindset, which then led to new and emboldened inspired action, and that’s all the proof that I need. In fact, our session rewired something energetically that I have been struggling with for years, and best of all, it felt easy and joyful to take action while also being completely out of my comfort zone!

Can I get a FUCK YEAH?!

It was sooooooo time for this, and I am sooooo thankful that Amber stepped into my life to help! Hopefully we can work together again in the future. And if you’re curious about what she does, she put together this free crown chakra guided meditation that you can do right now! Check it out!

There is some fabulous stuff going on in the cosmos lately, and it all lined up perfectly. As the ever-talented Mystic Medusa said in her latest blog post,

Any heart-felt attempts to break fresh ground – in your psyche, creative process, work, parenting, relationships, intellect – is brilliant. Any attempt to uphold stale status quo is poor strategy at best, doomed at worst.

As a follow-on from that, this morning I realised something important. I have my Sacred Morning Practice which I have been indulging in diligently since November (that’s five months now!). I can say with absolute confidence and certainty that this helps me, that it sets me up so that I can navigate emotional landmines with swiftness and more ease, and it helps me build positive momentum which then carries me throughout my day. But this morning I realised that I need to bring the people in my life into that practice too.

Something Amber told me yesterday was to make sure I was pouring from my excess, not my reserve… And I have a lot of excess. An essential piece of love is sharing. What’s the point in having a spiritual practice if it is only benefitting you alone?

To be clear, it is not our responsibility to solve other people’s problems. But it is our responsibility to share our love, information, and resources. So if you can do something that will make someone else feel good, why not do it?

Maybe some of these things are really obvious to you. I have known them for a while… But for whatever reason, I have been slow at applying them to my life. Actually using them in real time feels amazing.

I’m so excited for these new adventures. Don’t worry: as always, I will be reporting back and sharing what I discover!

Lovetasia,
